When my Kitchen aid was cracked by a dropped heavy object, I decided achy I will not pay $2000 for a new one, so I looked at different models. This one I liked the fact that has five cooking areas and the one in the middle is double. I liked the controls bing just flat in surface like the one before, which increases the cooking area and the cleaning is much easier. It was installed by an electrician, but it looks easy to replace the old one, and it fit perfectly where the old one was, the same cut in marble and size. I used it already and loved it, Some people reviews here say it is not getting hot, it takes forever to boil water, etc., we’ll not true. It is as fast and good as my old expensive one.     • You get what you pay for...
Bought this cooktop in November of 2022 when our existing top got a huge crack that nobody seems to remember making. I did not want to spend $1000 and saw nice reviews for this cooktop. In the beginning it worked very well. It is a little awkward to turn power on then turn the burner on. Though strange for a cooktop it worked well until it didn't... Less than 6 months installed and the thing is not working. Luckily I bought the warranty, right?! NO!!! Since it is less than a year I have been referred to contact the seller and/or manufacturer. No luck with either one. I have been waiting for a response for nearly 2 weeks now and not so much as "we will be in touch." I am now reduced to cooking with an electric skillet. I am very unsatisfied right now. I have no phone number to call or direct contact information of any kind. Suffice it to say, I would not recommend this product if you can't afford (or have no desire) to purchase more than one cooktop a year. If the manufacturer or seller is looking, reach out and let's get this resolved. ... show more

Box arrived in perfect condition, installed it in about 1 hour and it has been working all weekend. Took a little bit to figure out the unlock button and how to work the Temp controls but nothing major. I knew it would be a bit too small on the width perfect on length so I will have to adapt something to cover the small gap. Simple enough.... My other stovetop was older and the width was wider than this one but I couldn't find a replacement stovetop that was wider without paying a "LOT" more. It works, easy to install, looks nice, has 5 burners..... Will update this review if I have any problems. So far after 2 days of use no issues. Update: It's been a couple weeks now and very happy with this purchase. IT took a bit to figure out how the On off and protection buttons work...Overall Very happy with purchase no issues to date. ... show more

    • Unintuitive controls and it stopped working after 11 months. Company didn’t honor warranty.
This is an electric cooktop top that was made with poor design choice after poor design choice. I’ll go over the issues from annoying to dealbreakers. But first the good; * Installed easily like every other stove in this class and design. All the measurements are accurate. The packaging was good and arrived undamaged. The cooktop was level and easy to clean. Not so good; * The stove is counter intuitive to use. Everyone in my family enjoys cooking. This stove was a challenge to everyone, and I had to make a little sign after I read the manual a few times. Never had an issue with the stove this replaced and the one I installed today (11 months after I bought this one) is super intuitive. * The large triple element can’t be used along with the center element if using large (4 liter) pot and a medium/large pot. The catastrophic; * While cooking a large reduction the stove timed out and just died. It does have an automatic shutdown after a few hours. That’s fine, it’s a safety feature if someone leaves it on. But my stove would start up again. It would turn on, then beep after 10 seconds and turn off. This is not in the manual. I searched every forum I could with no luck finding anyone that had information on the stove doing this. My stoved seemed dead. I checked the wiring, the breaker, I checked for fuses or reset buttons. Nothing. Ok, it has a 1 year warranty right? No problem right? I went to the manufacturers website. They have no functional support. They do state the 1 year warranty and this happened at 11 months, I should be fine. Except they have no phone number listed and 1 single email address. I sent the, a email with what happened and a video showing the issue. No response. Waited a week emailed them again. No response. Total write off. ... show more

    • Excellent Cooktop and Good After-Sales Service
This cooktop has been an incredible improvement over the 1964-era cooktop it replaced. My wife loves how easy it is to clean. The different sizes and shapes of the burners make it easy to cook a variety of foods. The long burner is excellent for a griddle (I love to make breakfast), and the bottom left is her favorite for stir-fry. We did have an issue with the cooktop after owning it for about a year, but the Amzchef Team resolved everything quickly and professionally. Overall, we are delighted with our purchase.
