  • PLEASE READ. MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE. CHANGE SOME SETTINGS.
Firstly, it's an amazing ebike. Would like to point that out. Nobody I looked up told me what I ACTUALLY needed to know in order to edit the bike correctly to fit it to my needs and my areas laws. Everyone just mentioned changing the volts (do NOT do that) and changing the 8th hidden setting to max 100 (the default is already max). So I was like "nobody is helping". However after 2 days of testing I have the solution! Firstly turn your bike on, then turn your display on. Now simply hold the + and - button at the same time for about 3 seconds, this will bring you to your hidden settings. It has 16 settings. Press the M button to change between settings and the + or - buttons to manage those settings. Conveniently (sarcasm) they don't give you a manual or guide for managing your hidden settings on your e-bike. I found a safe easy revertable way to quicken or slow the bike if you need to. Plus I will tell you what each settings does later. To make the bike faster we simply have to trick the bike with a setting. To make it slower there's no tricking but simply editing the 08 (8th) settings to go lower, it's set at "max speed" by default (100) but if you want to go slower you just turn it down. My bike motor would shut off at 15mph, as advertised the bike can safely go 25mph and my state allows more so I needed to turn it up. In order to do this, the only non-destructive revertable way I found by messing with every hidden settings possible is to change the 06 (6th) setting. This setting tells the bike what the wheel diameter is, now you may wonder "how does this change me speed?" Well there's a sensor near the back wheel that uses the diameter information to calculate how fast your going. Small wheels would spin faster to go 20mph than a big wheel going 20mph does. So changing my settings from 29.0 (my actually wheel diameter) to almost half as much at 16.0 the bike will think your going almost half a fast what you're actually going. So in order to hit the 15mph limiter on my bike I know have to go around 25mph for it to shut off which is fantastic. The only small problem with this is this makes the speed reader on the display will say your going half as slow what your real speed is. However it's still useful because with some simple math you can tell what you real speed generally is. Also, for safety I ended up turning off the pedal assist and putting the bike in throttle only mode (the handle throttle). I can now use my pedals to rest on and stabilize without worrying about pushing them forward and having the pedal assist launch me forward into traffic. I've read two different reviews talking about them being sent to the E . R. So please customize your bike to your needs before using on open road! Setting 01 adjusts the brightness of the display. Setting 02 switches between kpm and mph. (0-kpm, 1-mph) Setting 03 changes voltage values to your motor. Do not change it from what you're motor says it needs. My motor wants 48 so I have 48. (26v, 36v, 48v, 60v) Setting 04 changes the auto sleep timer by minutes. 0 mean no sleep timer. Setting 05 configures the peddle assist/throttle display levels. No power or speed can be gained from this, however you can decrease or increase the amount you need to click + or - to get to the desired motor level will your riding. * Setting 06 allows you to adjust what your bike thinks your wheel diameter is for it to calculate your speed. ***As explained earlier I use this setting to trick the bike sensor so I can get past a 15mph barrier. Settings 07 changes Magnet Steel number (for speed test) . I'd say to probably leave this alone. * Settings 08 is mentioned a lot by people. Normaly the default setting is at max (100). This changes your speed. A lower value will make you go slower. It goes from 0 to 100. Setting 09 (I will just put what I found on the internet for this setting, I'm not quite sure what it does) zero start / kick to start setting. (0- direct start, 1- kick to start) * Setting 10 drive mode settings. 0: pedal assist only. 1: ***Throttle mode only (i like this one). 2: peddle assist and throttle mode. (I think peddle assist and throttle is risky combined because having two different things on your bike that will launch you forward into traffic felt weird to me.) Setting 11 adjust peddle assist pedal sensitivity. 1-24. Lower value means it's the most sensitive. So a value of 1 means your motor will take less peddling to kick in, 24 means more peddling to activate the motor. Setting 12 assist start intensity. 0-5. So basically 0 will have soft starting torque and 5 will have kick arse start torque. Setting 13 power magnet stell number 5/8/12. This tells your bike how many magnets are in PAS sensor disk. Best to leave alone but if you change it and forget, 8 or 12 should be fine. Setting 14 is your display AMPS (I think) I couldn't change this setting. Setting 15 I couldn't change this setting either, it's for your display I think. Some kind of voltage cut off. Setting 16 is your odometer setting. It won't show any numbers to fiddle but you can reset your odometer with this option if you hold a certain button (I read this somewhere. If you wish to reset your odometer just look it up, sorry I can't remember how) ... show more

  • Great bike with lots of features.
Color: Green
I've had the bike for about ten months now and put a little over 260 miles on it. It's been a pleasure to ride. I live in a very hilly area which made a traditional bike impossible to ride. It is a large, heavy, sturdy bike. I wouldn't recommend it if you need to carry it up and down stairs. I'm a big guy at 6ft 4, 270lbs and it has plenty of power to get me up hills while peddling vigorously. I only use the motor on steep inclines so the battery lasts around 75-100 miles on a single charge for me. The bike is comfortable at the highest seat setting for me. Seat is nice and cushy and doesn't hurt my butt, even on long rides. I did have to adjust the brakes and shifter cables after receiving the bike. So if you're not comfortable doing this, you may want to take it to a bike shop. If you are going to ride the bike on trails or sandy areas, I'd recommend removing the chain grease that comes from the factory and replace it with a dry grease made for that purpose. After my first ride through some sand, my chain and gears were gummed up with sand. I used some brake cleaner I had lying around to strip the old grease and replaced it with a good coat of Squirt chain lube. Since then, all the sand just falls right off. After about 250 miles, my controlled died on an incline with the E-09 error. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a replacement. Swapping the controller was fairly easy, only requiring a Phillips head screw driver and some zip ties. It's basically idiot proof with the four unique connectors only attaching one way. I did notice the controller was not secured in any fashion inside of the black plastic housing on the bottom of the bike. This means it's free to bounce around inside the box. I'm not sure if this was related to mine failing, but if you're so inclined, I'd recommend opening the box (4 screws) and placing some foam around the controller so it doesn't bounce around in there. You could also potentially just strap it down somehow. Overall, great experience with the bike and the seller. ... show more

  • 250 Miles and doing GRRREEAAAT
Color: Black/Red
The media could not be loaded. 250 mile UPDATE, I've been riding all over Southern Oregon and even took it to Crater Lake for Rid The Rim '23. After riding paved , groomed & remote hiking trails the only damage is the Display. Smacked a branch on a tighter corner the otherday. The replacement was In Stock and Mike Yin shipped it to me yesterday. The level of Seller support has been excellent. As is the bike itself. I did a good bit of research (Google/YouTube) before picking this bike. The box arrived early & the setup was very simple. You may prefer your own metric tool set though. I plugged the charger in while putting the bike together. The Green Light was glowing by the time I finished. The assembly took longer because the bracket of the rear fender was misshapen. I made the adjustments in my vise. Also, the plug at the handlebar leading to the display was unplugged. Close inspection showed me two of the needle-pin connectors where bent. I GENTLY repositioned them and made connection. In my long experience with motorcycle and etc assembly glitches, these were Nothing. I've ridden over 30 miles in the last 2 days around Coastal Southern Oregon. It's NOT flat. The battery indicator only moved One bar during a 15.6 round trip covering path, trail, beach sand and round pebble drifts. I never used over PA-3. In 21st gear it pulled 26mph while I pedaled.....rapidly ( just trying to maintain pedal pressure ). Up some ridiculous steep grades 7th hear and PA-2 was simple @ 6mph. I was a Motorcycle Technician & Durability Test Rider. I put it though The $&it and it passed. I'm 200lbs & 65yo. ... show more
