This is a really good beginners bike, it is very solid. I bought this for my teen, he loves it. It's battery life is good, and the max speed is 20mph. If your bike runs out of battery you can always pedal it and use it as a regular bike. I'm very stoked with this bike. A really good purchase.

The only review you need: Building the bike was a little tricky, but we have found it mostly is fun to ride, fast, and the battery works his enough. You won't see crazy fast speed, or super long life of the battery, but at this price point, these bikes are beyond worth it. The bike itself is quite heavy so be ready to pedal hard of needed if the bike dies, or strain yourself if you have to lift it up steps. The brakes do touch a bit but it didn't affect it much. This item is horrible! My son drove it for 3 days and it wouldn't go above 10mph! I called Amazon for a refund and because it's a third party I had to message them, I sent them the information on what the bike was doing/not doing! I waited for a response and nothing! The bike was completely off and nothing charging the light on the front of it just started to flicker. A waste of money! Also you have to pay for shipping to send it back! A defaulty item on their part you have to pay for the shipping! So here I have a very bad Christmas gift for my son, $300 in the hole, and no one to help refund the money back from Amazon or the third party! So warning don't waste your money nor your time nor your blood pressure! ... show more

    • Great purchase, my daughter who’s 12 loves it.
I bought this bike for my daughter for Christmas so that she could keep up with me on my electric bike. And in the last 15 days she’s put 70 miles on it. She absolutely loves this bike. It can go for quite a distance before needing to recharge goes about 20 mph on high speed. The headlight and brake light are a fantastic feature for this bike. And help a lot now that it is getting dark at 5 o’clock at night and she still wants to be out riding it on the street. We love everything about this bike. ... show more

    • Could be mine, but they didn't go as far as anticipated
They look great. I couldn't figure how to install front fender, so I left it off. I bought 2 and used them when camping over the weekend. They are quick and the auto assist is a nice feature. They didn't last long. With a full charge, they made it half the distance I thought I would get. We couldn't make it to the entrance of the state park which was 3 miles away. We turned back because the charge was quickly going down. By the time I got back to the camper, it was on the last bar and flashing. ... show more
