I’ve been wanting a solid electric dirt bike for ages, and now that I’ve put about 100 miles on this beast, I can honestly say it’s the real deal. I picked the 52V 40Ah version because I hate the idea of running out of battery on the trails—and so far, no regrets. The Ride: The torque hits you right away. With 3000W peak power, this thing takes off fast. I’ve hit 34 MPH on flat pavement without even really trying. The fat 20-inch tires make a world of difference; they just eat up bumps and sand. Yesterday I took it down a rural gravel route, and it handled everything like a champ. Battery & Range: I ride with a mix of throttle and pedal assist, and on my last trip through some hilly farm roads, I racked up about 45 miles and still had plenty of battery left. If you stick to pedal assist, getting close to that 100-mile range actually feels possible. Build & Design: This thing looks tough. The matte black finish and “Hiker” branding give off serious electric motorcycle vibes—way more than your average e-bike. A Few Quick Pros & Cons: Pros: Killer suspension, super responsive hydraulic brakes, and a headlight that’s actually bright enough for night rides. Cons: It’s heavy. You’re not carrying this thing up stairs, trust me. Assembly took me about 45 minutes—not difficult, just go slow on the front fork. Bottom line? Whether you’re commuting over rough roads or just tearing up dirt trails for fun, this bike is worth every cent. And don’t be surprised when people stop you to ask what you’re riding—happens every time I park.

I cannot recommend this bike due to the lack of customer support response from Hikeep. The only support available is by email, and only 4 of my 13 emails have been replied to over the last 3 weeks. The replies I did get only address the failed brake lever sensor, not the bigger issue of the bike failing to restart after riding for a while, leaving me stranded. It appears to be an issue of controller or motor overheating and shutting down, but I cannot get any support for this failure. I have another 3,000w dual-motor Hikeep K6-T bike that has performed great, so I ordered this "dirt bike" style witb a larger single 3,000w motor thinking it would be the same performance, but all from a rear motor (no front wheel spinning up dirt trails). Unfortunately, this K6-S motor is not larger, it is the same size as the rear 1,500W motor alone of my K6-T, and the side-by-side performance is much less than the K6-T I already have. Very disappointing. The k6-T dual motor is much faster, especially up any hills. Performance aside, the lack of response from support makes this a hard sell. When I do get a response, they restate earlier info, address only half of my problem, and ask for contact information I already gave them from the first email. If you are out there Hikeep, please check and answer your emails! If Hikeep can contact me and resolve I would be glad to change my opinion, but as it is I have no choice but to return it and search for something else.

I apologize to the seller I finally unlocked the speed my bike go up to 48 mph I kept unlocking speeds this bike is the truth I advise everyone to wear a helmet and knee pads I’m 39yrs old and I can drive but that hikeep bike is different they need to sponsor me I’ve been advertising their bike even to the ambulance people yeah you heard me ambulance people they could not believe how I unlocked the speed and the brakes please be careful the breaks work like a champ but one wrong move and you gonna get thrown from here to yanda and you gonna be hurt even the police couldn’t believe how fast it go I almost reach 50 on my mama when I say adults only adults only with a helmet 😂😂😂🥰but I hit the wrong thing never hit the break but I did that by a mistake I went flying and that wasn’t even no where near top speed..seller’s you got my address sponsor me and send me a code to give people a lot of people want to buy and a helmet

I’d give it 5 stars but im big and weigh 245 only gets up to 18 mph on the electric motor, might be faster with someone smaller. It’s well built and fairly fun to ride specially on dirt. I commuted with it once and it was fun

**2 Week Post Purchase Update** Was really happy with initial build and quality, however after a couple weeks of daily use the battery was having issues and was seeing performance issues with the bike. Ended up returning. Initial Review: I'm really happy with this bike and feel like it was worth the investment. Right out of the box, the first thing that stood out to me was how solid and well made everything felt. The materials feel high quality, not cheap or flimsy, and the overall build give you confidence that this is a thoughtfully designed product. You can tell they put real effort into the details. Assembly was pretty straightforward. I'd say the bike came about 85% pre-assembled, and it took me around 45 minutes to finish the installation by myself. The instructions were mostfly helpful, although there were a few small areas where you have to make minor judgement calls or inferences. That said, nothing felt overly difficult, and the hardware and components were good quality, which made the process smoother. I also really appreciated the extra touches. Things like the phone mount, storage container, and bike lock made the whole package feel more complete and practical. Those details made it feel like the company was actually thinking about how people will use the bike in real life, not just trying to ship the bare minimum. Performance-wise, the thing is fast. That was one of the biggest pleasant surprises. What I like most is that it still feels like a bicycle, You can absolutely ride it in regular bike mode, but when you want the help, the electric assist kicks in quickly and gives you that extra boost right when you need it. That makes it great both for city riding and for more off-road adventure-style use. Overall, I think this is a very solid, high-quality e-bike that strikes a nice balance between traditional bike feel and electric convenience. It looks good, feels thoughtfully designed, and performs really well. If you are on the fence, I'd say it's definitely worth considering.

WARNING SAFETY CONCERN: Left crank arm held on with a standard clockwise screw resulting in it backing itself out. Use threadlocker and monitor frequently. This should've been a reverse thread bolt. I received the bike missing one of the lock washers for the front axle, contacted the manufacturer and they requested I try to find a replacement locally. It's a 19.6mm washer, non-standard, but I found something oversized and ground it down to fit. They reimbursed me the cost. Once I got this bike fully put together it is an absolute blast to ride. The lights are very bright, the brakes feel good, and the suspension is great. The splash/mud guards could be better designed to prevent splash/spray. The seat could use some attention, it's to squarish, sitting on it normal it presses my femurs outward, so I find myself sitting to one side or the other to avoid developing hip issues (I removed the seat cover and replaced some of tge foam with a denser foam that doesn't compress like the seat foam, it's a marked improvement). Battery charging from ~20%-100% is 8 hours, I haven't done a ride for distance, but mixed pas 1-2 and dipping into pas3 on downhills I'm averaging 35 miles off a full charge. The motor has plenty of torque to get me up to speed. Hold + and - for several seconds to enter the controller settings, +/- to change values, power button to change setting #, #9 is amp limit, stock is 22.5A(1170W), 14.4A is 748.8W (when unlocked, pas1: 12.6mph, pas2: about 23mph) unlock by holding throttle and rear brake, then turn on and unlock bike, E20 error code should display, hold throttle and brake for 20 seconds, after releasing bike should be unlocked.

Factory install of the rear wheel motor assembly was incorrectly put together. Nine days after receiving it stopped working with an error code. We realized at assembly at the HiKeep plant the assembler had not properly tightened the rear wheel hub, and it came off the axle severing the power cable attached to the rear hub. I had a professional look at it, and he said this: The axle turned in the slot and damaged the power cord. We need new locking plates with the new hub motor, new screws for the rotor and power cord because they're rounded out. Customer service is spotty at best. I get a few responses to where I feel the company may send the parts to rectify their error only to get ghosted after a few replies. Meanwhile, my 13-year-old is without his birthday present for a third straight week with no end in sight.
