The hydraulic brakes are reliable on both dry and wet roads - there was no slipping during two emergency brakes to avoid sudden obstacles. The most surprising thing is the comfort of the cushion, which makes the 90-minute weekend ride without discomfort. Muddy tree roots are not difficult As an occasional weekend off-road rider, I’ve ridden this e-bike through technical singletrack and muddy trails. The fat tires provide predictable grip on hardpacked surfaces. The frame geometry ensures stability on descents, yet is nimble enough to handle tight turns. On steep, technical climbs, the torque sensor adjusts power delivery within 0.3 seconds of pedaling—critical when navigating root-filled sections. The walk assist feature is useful for carrying the bike up difficult slopes. There are also throttle-only and pedal-assist modes. Hydraulic brakes and all-terrain tires prevent slipping. The integrated LED headlight provides ample trail visibility at dusk, and the removable battery (which can be removed in 3 seconds) provides a convenient way to recharge. Comfort is excellent during up to 3 hours of off-road riding.

This e-bike became my daily workhorse. Its all-terrain tires (20" x 4.0") strike a rare balance among commuter e-bikes: They ride smoothly on asphalt and grip easily on loose gravel without bouncing. This is in stark contrast to the cheaper models I've tested that whine under load. Where it really shines is on hills. My route includes a bridge with a 35° grade. With pedal assist mode engaged, the torque sensor delivers power in proportion to how hard I pedal. Unlike those cadence-based systems that suddenly accelerate, this feels like having a teammate gently pushing the bike from behind. The hydraulic brakes provide a controlled stop in emergency braking, without spinning out. Maintenance-wise, after 300 miles, the brake pads show minimal wear compared to mechanical disc brakes that require monthly adjustments.

Got this retro-style e-bike for commuting, but ended up taking it on dirt trails too. The motor is strong – climbs steep hills without stuttering. Battery lasts me multiple days of back-and-forth to work, even when I detour through the park. Love the vintage design (got tons of compliments at the coffee shop), but the real win is how smooth it rides on both pavement and gravel.

This electric dirt bike handles my local trails better than expected. The motor powers through moderate hills without overheating, and the 4-inch tires actually work on loose gravel - no sliding like my old bike. Reached 28mph on flat sections. Appreciate the kickstand being sturdy enough for uneven ground. Perfect upgrade from my regular ebike.
