  • Very pleased!
Color: Grey
I love my Puckipuppy Labrador! This bike is perfect for what I was wanting. I am 5’11” and 185lbs, and the riding position couldn’t be better. Assembly was not difficult but I think the instructions could have been more clear about orientation of the handlebars and which bolts mount the kickstand. (It’s the longer ones) It’s built like a tank and has absorbed my few spills on challenging trails like a champ. Unfortunately, at 75 pounds, the weight is like a tank as well, so off-road don’t expect to be able to get up every incline that has loose rocks and/or bulging roots without dismounting. The weight also makes it difficult to maneuver in tight situations, and it can tend to try to get away from you on steep off-road downhills with loose rocks. For comparison, a friend bought a similar bike with the same power that is 65 pounds. I still like my puppy better for several reasons: the comfortable seat, the display, the tires, the rearview mirrors (even though I had to make several modifications to prevent them from shaking so much you couldn’t see in them, but his had none at all), the overall design and look, and most importantly the availability of replacement parts and an accessible responsive customer service team. I was very disappointed in the headlight for the first few weeks because it was not as bright as I wanted and I couldn’t get it to shine straight in front of the bike at the right downward angle. Mounted correctly, it was shining way up and to the right. I even searched extensively for an aftermarket one, but I could not find any that would fit the bike’s wiring The puppy customer service team could not provide any recommendations either. Finally, I kept making adjustments until I realized I could bend and rotate it to where it looks warped on the bike, but it is shining straight and at the correct angle. I would like it to be brighter, like my friend’s headlight, but it is now adequate. At first I was disappointed in the tail light, because it is not hardwired into the electronics and you have to charge it separately with a USB2 adapter. But now that I purchased a rear rack and tail pack, I am glad that it is flexible so I could mount it at the back of the rack instead of around the seat post where it is intended. My bag would’ve completely blocked it. I have only had one real issue with the bike, which I have owned and been riding for several months. That issue is that my rear brake lever recently became much softer, where when you squeezed it, it would almost be touching the grip. The owners manual claims there is a way to make an adjustment on the handlebar assembly to tighten the cable, but I was not able to figure out how to do this. It is not your typical two nut assembly that is used on dirt bikes and other bicycles. My son who is a mechanical engineer could not figure it out. My other friend who has been working on motorcycles for the past 20 years could not figure it out. I reached out to customer support, providing the owners manual instructions and pictures, but they were not able to give me any advice. They did completely take care of the problem for me, however. They told me to take it to a local bike shop, have them make the adjustment, and they would reimburse me for the cost. I did that, and their tech found a tiny little recessed bolt in the assembly that you can tighten and loosen to make the adjustment. Puppy gave me an instant credit as soon as I emailed them the invoice. The tech also adjusted the Derailleur to perfection, which was great since it was quite out of whack as delivered. With all these complaints I have made, why the 5 stars? The bike is just that good, provides so much value at this price point, and is more fun than I could have imagined. I have been able to resolve every issue to where I am very pleased. Although their support team is not knowledgeable about the bike, they have the authority to take care of issues to the customers satisfaction. ... show more

  • Great bike! Amazing company!!! Crossbar was just a little too tall for my 5'4" frame.
Color: Grey
Great bike for me, who has bad knees and needs a little assistance on occasion to get up hills. - The bike is very comfortable and well built. - The controls are easy to use. - It came with lots of extras, like bike locks, a bike cover, & a security system. - The bike is very easy to put together. It only took me about 30 minutes. And the company has been great! I bought this version, the Labrador, with the higher cross bar. This version was a little too tall for my 5'4" frame. PUCKIPUPPY called me a few days after the delivery, unsolicited, to see how I was liking the bike. I mentioned at that time that I loved the functionality of the bike, but it was a little too tall. They then worked with me to make sure I got their Boxer ST version, which is a much better fit. But other than I needed something with a lower cross bar, this version was great! AND... I just love that the versions have dog breed names (Labrador, Boxer.....) and are referred to as "companions". ... show more

  • Would buy again
Color: Hunting camouflage
Love riding this around town. My son hops on the back and we cruise down to 711 all the time for slurpies. The father/son bonding alone is priceless! Bike is good quality, smooth ride, tops at 20mph. Overall it’s worth the price !

Good power and quality bike. Tires could be more heavy duty especially for off road already had to replace the tubes. Suspension is great. Not too bad to put together

  • I’m impressed seriously impressed
Color: Grey
Why did you pick this product vs others?: To be honest our friends have had puckipuppy bikes for a couple of yrs. They swear by them. So my wife and I decided to purchase two. We absolutely love them. We did search other brands but kept coming back to these. I was trying to get back in shape by jogging. But at my age (I hate to admit it) my healing time for my knees takes a little longer 😂 These e-bikes are so much fun. We still feel the restriction peddling (the workout is there) but you’re just going so much faster. we are getting helmets. My wife and I rode dirt bikes for yrs. And are planning on hitting some good fast trails. Again we love them Sturdiness: They feel solid. Factory welds were beautiful. All the cables securely wrapped. Front shocks are adjustable. We have them set stiff. It’s just solid Noise level: What noise. Ease of riding: Very easy Speed: 30 Battery life: So far so good. We havent really gone over 20 miles yet. But we were still 3/4 full. Size: The bike is a little tall. ... show more

  • Great E-Bike - Comfortable & Reliable, Does Exactly What We Needed
I purchased this e-bike for my father, who wanted something to utilize throughout his neighborhood and on his property at home that wasn’t going to destroy the landscaping or his yard. This bike arrived when expected (shipping time was maybe a week or so, but that’s understandable for such a large item). The bike had to be assembled upon arrival and the instructions were fairly easy to follow - we did feel like some of the instructions were maybe out-dated or had older model part information on them, but nonetheless the assembly was easy to figure out and we had the bike put together pretty quickly. The bike rides great and is comfortable. It looks exactly like the pictures included in the advertisements, and the color/pattern is very appealing. We typically only use the bike for shorter periods of time (not traveling long distances or over long periods of time!) so the charge seems to last a while before we have to recharge it. Overall, we didn’t know much about PUCKIPUPPY before purchasing this bike but we are happy with our investment! The bike arrived and runs as expected and is great for riding around on our property (grassy, gravelly hills) and going between houses in the neighborhood. We would definitely purchase a bike from PUCKIPUPPY again. ... show more
