Right off the bat, I was able to lift the package to another location without too much exertion. Once I found a place to open it because I was so excited to test out the bike. It took me about 1.5 hours from opening to ride time. The instruction manual was straight forward. Make sure you open the box right side up (hint: look at the logo on the box). The packaging was very well done as you may wonder how to get a bike with many components delivered to your house without damage, well, lets just say lots of ties and foam. But the garbage was minimal, about one medium sized garbage bag and the rest recyclable cardboard. The valve stem was tricky at first but once I figured out how it worked it was easy, ask a bike guy or search it up on youtube. No problems with installing the parts and no missing parts. A bike stand would be a bonus but I leaned it up against something. Putting on the front tire would be easier with two people but I managed. Alignments were great and the front tire rolls without a wobble. It is not as heavy as some other E-bikes I have ridden. The fenders work well to protect you from water and mud and the rear rack is very convenient for storage. I use this to get around the city I live in and it makes the longer commutes much easier. Love the EV bike movement and hopefully your community will promote bike safety as a form of transportation. Don’t forget your helmet! and ride safely. Get your serial number and insurance people. I have both the CB1 and CB2. Loved the CB1 some much I bought the CB2. CB2 has the integrated battery which makes it look more like a traditional bike. The CB2 seems to have a little higher handlebar setup which I like. Both bikes are identical in ride and performance and very easy to ride. I would recommend this bike, CB2, over the CB1 for just a few more dollars. As with most Ebikes the settings on the control panel are hard to figure out and as I found most are not what the manual has in them. Internet search led me to the right settings to optimize the bike. It works great with the default settings but if you want to customize you need to understand the P codes and their values. This is a BLAST! This bike has been so fun to have and I could not be happier. It was super easy to assemble and came with everything I needed which I was very grateful for. I couldn’t wait to hop on it and went out for a ride that very day. The different assist levels are super helpful as well in case you want to mainly pedal for a workout and just have some slight assistance or if you really just want the bike to zoom you away you can do that too! We took it for about a 16 mile ride and I think only ONE of the battery level bars decreased so the battery life is stellar. It has a super smooth ride and the built in horn and headlight are great to have. It takes about 5 hours for a full charge which is no problem! Just charge it at night when you’re done using it. I would love to have another one for my girlfriend to ride along with me. The power is incredible too. We rode it up a decently steep hill and with the assist it was no problem at all! I have no complaints about the bike and would highly recommend it as I’ve now gone on a handful of rides with zero issue! Super satisfied! ... show more

I researched e-bikes extensively since this was my first purchase, and overall I recommend. I had tried a friend's bike, and test-rode a few in stores, and I greatly prefer this one. A few different comments: - Very stylish - I really like the look. - Weight - all e-bikes I tried were heavier than a manual bike, but I found this one fairly early to maneuver as a fairly fit 60 year old woman. - A few tweaks needed when I first received and assembled, but tech support was prompt, polite, and helpful (typically less than 1 day for email response) - In a few weeks, I have put on over 200 miles with no post-installation issues, and I really enjoy the bike for street and paved trail use in an area with rolling hills. - The throttle does work a little different than I thought - the max speed will vary based on your PAS (pedal assist) setting. For example, the max throttle speed is about 9 mph on PAS 2, and only about 6 mph with PAS 1. So it's a good boost when your trying to get pedaling from a dead stop on an upslope but won't get you going very fast at low PAS settings without a lot of extra pedaling. When you release the throttle, and when you are starting from a dead stop, it takes a few revolutions of the pedals until the motor assist starts to kick in. - Nice controller that is easy to read, showing the speed, miles, and battery life. - You can also see the battery voltage which is good to monitor how much life is left. As with most lithium batteries, the voltage will drop more quickly when the battery is about to run out of power, so it's good to test it out. - Ride is smooth, seat is comfortable, step-through frame is easy to use, and brakes are a little sluggish but effective - From a price/value standpoint, I don't think you'll find a better deal! ... show more

    • Fun bike but the range is overstated.

It is not difficult to put together - I guess that's a positive. The range is closer to 15 miles in assist mode. I have noticed noise in the derailleur, but I should be able to adjust that. The seat post and handlebar post will not stay tight. I'm 220 lbs, and I crank it down tight, but by the time I get home, they're loose again. 6/11/2025 UPDATE: As a result of my review, the manufacturer contacted me and made some suggestions to remedy my situation. I was able to make some adjustments and correct the problems. As a result of their contact, I have updated the review to 5 stars. Thank you, "Mary" ... show more
