I've commuted to work with this bike for the past year (over 2k+ miles so far) and I've only had to replace the rear tube once (hit a major pothole) and the rear tire once due to wear. Even with the pothole incident... this bike has lasted and holds up very well. I need to replace brake pads relatively soon as I can feel their reaching the end of their time but them lasting 2k+ miles is a testament to how well made this bike is and braking has always worked well! I highly recommend it. I weigh 180 and it is very comfortable and fun! I did buy a padded seat sleeve cover for extra comfort but even without it I was fine going on longer "Sunday Funday" rides. Assembly was easy (finished it within 45-60 minutes of opening the box) Now the negative is... I wish that it came with a brighter headlight attached higher off the handlebar (it has the 1 on the fender area) and it does not have any brake/taillight/blinkers which could be a major safety concern when riding at dusk or nighttime. The factory headlight and the horn also drain the battery quickly. But I was able to find aftermarket lighting accessories that attach well and charged with their own batteries so they didn't drain on the bike battery. This is a great value for the money and people are always shocked when they ask me how much it was. It rides great. I highly recommend this bike. Always remember to ride safely and beware of your speed and surroundings! Too many cars don't want to share the road. Best wishes for safe and happy biking! ... show more

So much fun and so easy! I was skeptical of the low price and the output I would receive but this bike is exactly what I wanted. Step through with ease, easy way to charge, the handlebars have an articulating ability to get the angle just right, the wheel covers to avoid mud splash back, the rear gear holder. Everything is made to be easy to use. The only items I have added are a cell phone holder and a mirror which both attached super easy. Battery life has been really good and where I like there are hills everywhere, you cannot ride a bike without heading up or down hill and being in traffic while doing so. The boost allows me to jump straight into the line and keep moving and I have never used the battery in a single trip. It is heavy but with the battery it doesn't bother me. It's just super fun, great for commute and looks great. Very happy with the value for money. ... show more

I've purchased two of these bikes now. The value can't be beat for people just looking for a fun, easy way to enjoy a nice ride. I've put 800 miles on mine in a year and now use it as my daily commuter. Some things to note: - Bike is easy to assemble, comes well packed in shipping box - My first bike was missing a fender, they sent me one in about 1.5 weeks. - The parts are not really high quality, but for casual riding, it's a great set of wheels - You may want to switch out the brakes for hydraulic, the mechanical brakes it come with are quite squeaky - The horn sound is kind of weird, but sure gets attention - Making some simple upgrades over time can really improve the ride and longevity. - The removable battery is great and is my preference over having to plug it in where it's parked. I can charge the battery on my desk at work for the ride home - range is pretty good - nice adjustability for different sizes, same bike works for me, my wife and my older kids On a budget, but want the fun of an ebike? This is a great purchase. Get a better seat from the get go ... show more

I've put almost 400miles on this bike in 2.5 months! Its a great ebike for the price!! Its not top of the line, but its easy to assemble, works well and is fun to ride! Only complaint is the battery life, I wish it lasted longer or there was a way to buy a second battery! But I mostly use it in full speed throttle or 5PAS, so thats on me but it gets me up hills and gets me to work! I'd suggest upgrading the tires as they are not the highest quality, I got a slow leak after 300 miles, but other than that its been a great bike so far! The screen is easy to use and easy to see even on the sunniest days! I take it to work every day(8miles) and into town and back(4mi), and I usually charge every other day or two, when it gets low.. and it has only fully died on me once and it was pretty easy to pedal it home since its pretty light for an ebike. And customer service has been wonderful. They respond quickly and kindly to messages! I'm very very happy with this purchase! ... show more

After being scammed out of 4 bikes from another seller, I decided to order myself a Funhang Eb-C2. I decided I wanted an electric bike after my husband and I borrowed my in laws one weekend. We had a lot of fun but I wasn’t too fond of the fat tires on their bikes. I like that this bike has the thinner tires. I am 5’3” and 135lbs. This bike feels super lightweight and like a regular bike to me. Especially compared to my in-laws. I love the blue color. Honestly I haven’t had the need to leave pedal assist 2. I start with one and can get up to 16 mph pedaling with no throttle. I use pedal assist 2 most of the time and can get up to the max speed of 21.6 pedaling alone. I only use the throttle when taking off or crossing a busy road. The brakes and bike itself were squeaky at first but now I don’t notice any sound. I have already purchased a few accessories and plan to at least upgrade the seat. Even with the smaller tires the bike rides smoothly and feels very stable. I feel much more comfortable and confident riding this bike compared to my mother in laws heavy fat tire bike. I definitely recommend this as a budget friendly option as a starter bike. Also, I have only had the bike assembled for two days. I have put 22 miles on it and I fluctuate between two and 3 bars. When I press the power button on the battery it says I still have 40-70% of battery life left. I also want to add that I ordered this and received it in 3 days. One day earlier than the earliest estimated delivery date. I live on the East Coast and my bike shipped via FedEx out of New Jersey. Also check out the Funhang public Facebook page. It took longer to unpack the bike than assemble. ( 45 minutes, includes pumping up tires. It was well packed & arrived in perfect order. I have put 100 miles on bike in all modes, gear change great. Brakes squeaked at first, but front brake has completely stopped & rear brake has become less. I believe with a few more miles that will go away. I have tried 30*< and after 1/4 mile up hill it was still maintained by 18 mph no slow down. Top in is 21.3 mph. I am getting 20-25 miles per charge using mainly battery & in top speed, so a lot of wind resistance. At level 3 I am getting more like 35-40 & maybe more per full charge. I believe this is a very good buy for the dollar. Our daughter bought one & so did I, both bikes are equal in quality. ... show more

I was going to buy an "American" bike for $2200 until I found out it was also manufactured overseas. I overcame the bad reviews of parts and service problems against Funhang by buying an extra parts bike. Bottom line: I gave up torque sensing pedal assist and gained 20 pounds of weight but I got 3 bikes with extended warranties for just over half the price of the other "American" brand. The fit, finish, and function of the bikes have far exceeded my expectations. The castings are beautiful and the hardware and machining are all amazing. I am 230 and not a biker, but went 29 miles the first day in some pretty hilly terrain and several miles of dirt paths and still had 2 of 5 bars left. My wife had 3. We mostly used pedal assist1 , never throttle, but I did kick it up on some really steep sections when there was a brutal headwind. Since the Pedal Assist is power being regulated, not measuring speed or pedaling effort, level 1 will take you to 14 mph if the going is easy. If I dont want to go that fast or am not pedaling hard enough to call it biking, I just turn off the pedal assist until I need it. ... show more

Decent! Battery: ~20 miles throttle only. ~35 miles pedal assist. Great on-road. Good on medium/gravel/sand trails. Get's a bit hard-to-handle on extreme BMX trails. Fairly accurate speedometer, good acceleration, adjustable handlebars make it quite comfortable. Love the rack. Love having cruise control. TIPS: Reset the brakes several times in first month of riding. (Adjust caliper position, pad position and cable tensions.) If your brakes suck, they need reset, simple. Get another seat and a suspension post. You will need a fan blowing on your charger for both safety and to extend charger life. (It gets HOT!) With weight on the rear rack, bike develops 'death wobble'. Add weight to front to compensate. Take apart front bearings, clean, sand smooth if necessary and grease up properly. (Had silicone in there, yuck.) The front FORKS will become loose/wobbly quickly, will need upgraded. (They cause overall instability once loose.) Bike will need a mechanical hand in first 250 miles in order to keep everything adjusted as it breaks-in. IMPORTANT: The pedal assist is absurd, ridiculous and broken - it doesn't work properly. It just keeps pushing the bike to 22mph no matter the PAS setting. I simply use the throttle and pedal with it to compensate. Not the best, not the worst! Not the most stable overall, but it is a BEACH CRUISER :) Good value for $400 out-the-door pricing (2026). Great entry bike. Get's the job done. Get's me out of the house all week. Perfect for cruising around town and mild trails. ... show more
