The five stars is because I needed shade Amazon got it to me in 2 days and I paid under $150 for it. But I will say if you want anything that's going to last or you have an event for the day and it might be windy this is not the shade for you. I go through one of these a year and this is by far the weakest one I've ever bought. But even when I buy the stronger more expensive ones I use them so much that they wear out to. So for my personal preference I put it up when I want to actually be under it I watch the weather to make sure I'm not exposing it to anything that's going to stress it or break it which means anything over 12 miles an hour could break the one I'm speaking about right now. I have personally reinforced every joint with duct tape because it's that fragile. But I made the effort because like all the more expensive ones I bought in the past they still barely last me a season and I've got to replace them. Seams not sewn for the zipper screened portion. Velcro not sewn in on one set and sewn in the wrong way in another so the two parts can’t stick together. Directions for set up don’t match the item.

Canopy quality seems great. Only issue is the 4 corners that fold out have a push ball type of locking system and the push balls don't have enough strength to lock the corner extensions in place, so ill have to figure out a way to make that work. Aside from that. Great book and feels really solid

This Canopy is beautiful! and the price is unmatched for the quality of it. I used it to provide shade over my blackstone as we do not have a patio cover. It is just stunning I cannot say enough words. I will say if you are using to protect from rain, some rain might come through the top mesh opening, so keep that in mind. otherwise it is great! and I would purchase and recommend again and again! ... show more
