Not so good: Assembly issues not covered in the instructions that I think any bike needs and for sure this one did: 1. front brake rubbing. this took an adjustment of the caliper assembly, about 10 minutes. 2. front derraileur rubbing on chain - this is a pain to adjust as you have to get the brake cable involved. OK, now the good: For the money, it's an incredibly good deal. Quality feel all around- good fit and finish, high quality Shimano derailleurs, nice paint finish. ... show more

The bike was delivered on time...it was packaged very well and it came with all the tools you would need to assemble it....after riding it for a while it is very powerful, pedal assist is easy as can be.... the led screen is easy to read...it also came with a front light and all the reflectors needed,..one thing I would recommend is to make sure you have an air pump...tires came deflated to save space...overall great E-Bike I would highly recommend this Funhang EB-m1 E-Bike ... show more

    • Worth the price with some drawbacks

[200 miles update] I use this bike for a daily commute of about 12 miles, so it has seen fairly consistent use since I got it. The biggest problem I encountered was with the battery. After the very first full charge and only about 7 miles of riding (mostly on low assist levels), the bike completely died and wouldn’t turn back on. The battery also showed no signs of life. I had to go through several back-and-forth emails with customer support, and they required me to record videos at each troubleshooting step. Eventually, they did send me a replacement battery, which resolved the issue, but the process was a bit time-consuming. With the replacement battery, my real-world usage looks like this: I typically ride about 18 miles using pedal assist mode 1, and then another ~6 miles using full scooter/throttle mode just for fun. At that point, it feels like a good time to recharge the battery which takes ~4 hours. In terms of fit, the bike is advertised for riders up to 6'1", but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone taller than around 5'8". I’m slightly over 6 feet, and even with adjustments, it feels too small to ride comfortably within safe limits. I’m deducting one star for this. On the positive side, assembly was straightforward and easy. The bike also feels worth the price overall for what you get. At around 170 miles, I got a flat on the rear tire, which I’ve temporarily fixed with a patch and slime. Also, some mechanical components produce minor noises, more than expected, but not a dealbreaker. One thing to note is a discrepancy in tire pressure recommendations. The instruction manual suggests inflating the tires to 45 PSI, but the tire sidewall itself clearly indicates a maximum of 40 PSI. This is something to be aware of when maintaining the bike. Overall, it offers decent value for the price, despite some drawbacks. I’ll update again after another 200 miles in case of any changes. ... show more

I'm a casual biker, averaging 8 miles on a weekend ride while also pulling my toddler along behind me on a trailer. I almost always use level 1 assist, I'll use level 2 on dirt paths. Both settings are remarkably easy while still giving me a challenging workout. 4 hours for 8 miles is my average pace, and it never draws the battery below 70%. The build is fine. Tires seem cheap, good adjustability in the handlebars, the pedals are cheap, the seat is worthless and the handgrips can be uncomfortable, but its all totally fine for the price. I didn't bither to use the mudguards. The bike definitely feels like a heavier bike. The suspension is still stiff, but I haven't broken it in very much yet. The brakes seem perfectly fine. Theyll stop fast if you squeeze hard enough. No warping or fading yet and I've been rough on them. The only upgrade I wish this had, is rear suspension. ... show more

Pleasantly surprised. Controller is easy to understand. Arrived without damage. instruction manual could use a little bit of revision on how you put it together, but not a huge issue if you've assembled stuff before. Ride is smooth with and without assist. Battery is a little finicky getting it in and out, but not terribly difficult. Mud guards are flimsy, could def use additional structure support in the design.
