  • Great Commuter E-Bike
So far I've owned the Hiknight H2 E-bike for 5 months. I love it! I use it to ride to work on paved roads, dirt and grass. I don't have any steep hills near me, but it seems to have enough power to be able to tackle that. It hasn't given me any problems. The setup was easy and straight forward. I like the looks of it. I've gotten several compliments. I have it in white. I was pleased that it came with a lock, tools and a phone holder. It feels sturdy and well built. Overall it's a great value for the price. ... show more

  • Quality and Value Above and Beyond
I love this bike. I did a lot of research before I bought this and it has exceeded my expectations !!! I live in Miami Beach and it is my main mode of transportation and it is perfectly suited for everything I do. There is a lot of traffic here and most people have a bike, scooter or motorcycle and when I am out on this beautiful Hiknight H2 It gets all the attention. I got the black and white model. I get compliments everyday. The 26" size looks impressive and feels solid and safe. It is super easy to ride a super smooth on the street and sand. The hydraulic brakes are exceptional and that is good because POWER is the big surprise here. Wow it is a beast. It has all the power you will need for any situation I feel real good on this bike every day. ... show more

Awsome bike. Great battery life. Used it on trails and roads and never had an issue. I pull a small trailer with it and it worked great. Would recommend highly to anyone that needs an offroad bike. Having front and rear drive is a plus.

  • H2 Pro is worth the money.
Okay I am not an AI bot so bear with me. I have three other ebikes from other manufactures and wanted one with a step thru frame. I love fat tires, hydraulic brakes, must have dual motors and 52volt system. A sizable battery is good also. This bike met those needs. I then watched several bike shop reviews on this H2 Pro bike to confirm the frame was solid. I went with the white color. The welds of this aluminum frame look good. Assembly was easy to do. The option of switching between one motor and two motors at the push of a button is nice. Add extra stuff to suit your needs. ... show more

  • Not as advertised/reviewed, but still cool.
After reading reviews both at Amazon and the company's own site, and elsewhere online, I was dismayed to find variances in the reality, compared to the hype. I can see lots of reasons this might have taken place, as the maker offers many bikes of the same basic frame design, and the box arrived with checkboxes to indicate which was shipped - but none were check-marked. Until opening it, I worried I had gotten the wrong bike. With the variants, I'm wondering if they didn't just accidentally put the fancy orange wheels on a less expensive frame, but I've no solid clues to concretely indicate it the case. So I'll start with the variances: a) More than one review cited 9 PAS power levels, and on first-flight test, there were indeed 9 levels. However, after level 5, there was absolutely zero notable change in performance, whatsoever. After first 100 miles, it no longer goes above level 5, anyway, for some reason; b) maximum speed is touted to be 38 mph. Fastest possible speed, regardless of rider, was 33 mph, on a 5 degree downhill; c) riding range is stated to be 60-90 if peddle assist. I get less than 25, level pavement almost exclusively, with just one short 'driveway' hill shallow enough to power up without peddle, but I do hit it at full peddle reaching around 20mph at entry. I am a heavy rider at 220 lbs, which can be a factor. I've tried slow speeds and fast, at various power levels. I use only high gear, which feels like a low gear at speed - I can't see anyone peddling any faster; d) display is claimed to be readable in daylight. Hardly so - at best you can just make out the battery level and speed if the sun is not directly on it. You need to shade the sky itself. But that's how it is with cell phones, so no one should be surprised - the same screen technology. Likes: feature laden to make for good value, despite the variances. Safety related: electric horn, turn signals, powerful headlamp, large taillight. Full information display. The dual motor is likely part of the overall experience and performance value aspects, but just when the second meter kicks in or if it is always on is a mystery - see dislikes. It is much quieter than all three prior e-bikes, so perhaps that is one resulting advantage, through load sharing reduction of motor strain. The quality rack was very valuable to me, enabling me to mount 'saddle bags' and a collapsible milk crate to I can cary almost anything if I go shopping or to the post office. The Step-thru design is a life-saver for use of that cargo capacity, and it's easier for this older gentleman, who does not have sure footing due a neuropathy (AS AN ASIDE - if you have neuropathy in your feet/legs - BUY AN E-BIKE as a THERAPY/EXERCISE solution!!! - saved me from possible amputation!!!) To do that on my old bike required nearly two hundred dollars for an add-on bracket of suitable quality. The shocks on the front are better than the ones on the best of my prior bikes. Comes with a very nifty all-in-one 'Swiss-Army' tool (almost, anyway - also comes with another single-function tool). Bless their hearts, when I complained about a given matter (see dislikes), HiKnight attempted to offer superior service even though support was out of China. They were very communicative and understanding, and without prompting, sent a replacement part that was not really needed. While it did not arrive due an unknown issue, I appreciated the effort. The problem and solution is described below. Dislikes: a) power application is just plain weird. All my prior bikes applied power as soon as you peddled or used the throttle, unless using peddle only mode, or walk mode: takeoff and peddling or throttle transitions were always smooth. This bike wants to wait for a bit before applying power. That's OK when just starting off, perhaps even safer given the available torque of two motors; dunno about that. But if simply coasting and wanting to start up again, you have that same resistance and delay before the motors join in, and it is annoying, resulting in a kind of 'halting' experience, much like a train ride when coupling cars at the station; b) likewise, if using throttle while also peddling, if you briefly stop peddling, you can find that the coast-down difference amplifies how long it takes for synchronizing peddle power to the prior level - the motors don't want to acknowledge you are peddling - I have to let go the throttle, completely, if to resume using both; c) the corporate site suggests the shortest user should be 5'5" - 6'5" tall for best fit. I'm 5'9" and at the lowest seat level, I am barely comfortable seated with my feet on the ground, flat. Raising the seat even one inch, I have to use my toes, only, or lean the bike for one foot on, one off - doable, but less comfortable. But I would not want to raise the seat under any circumstances, for another, more serious fit problem, next; d) the big objection: I can't figure out who this bike is designed for, unless it be a sportsman riding recklessly off-road. It certainly does not seem to be for conventional riding: I cannot make the bike 'fit me'. At the lowest seat setting, I have to lean forward to reach the handlebars. They are too low, and too-far forward, compared to my other bikes. The seat adjustment has quite a rearward angle, so if you raise the seat because you are taller, you will need lean forward even more, as both the height difference (shoulder to handlebar) and the seat distance to handlebar, are increased; e) the handle bar has an adjustment to raise it height perhaps an bit more than an inch, and doing so on an 'arc,' it also moves it closer about a half inch, but even so, I'm still leaning forward and it tires me out; f) Adjusting the handlebar was problematic. The screws were so tight that it bent the provided all-in-one tool's hefty Allen wrench, and threatened to break apart the frame holding all the tools in place. I had to pay a machinist to break the torque, and they grimaced at the force needed. Someone at the HiKnight factory probably had a torque wrench set way too high the day mine was produced, and didn't question it; g) leaning forward mad the provided seat more uncomfortable, even though I replaced it with a much better seat designed for my body weight. It is a significant difference between my old bikes and the new. I could do 20 miles before getting sore butt syndrome, but the HiKnight yeilds it even on a short ride; h) Replacing the seat was problematic: the method of attachment and the diameter of the tube did not allow the first seat I ordered to fit. Because I had left over parts from other seats removed from my old bikes, (likewise upgraded), I was able to adapt a second seat ordered to fit the HiKnight. However, it was not possible to adjust the seat forward more than a half inch, though it had nearly three inches of adjustment capacity, if able to use it directly without mixing or parts. That may have made some noticeable difference in reducing my forward leaning. Conclusion: The bike suffers from an inability to raise the handlebar, and the seat needs a means to be closer to the bar, so one can sit rather upright in a relaxed position, as was possible on all my other bikes. Some of that is bound to be 'just me,' though there is nothing unusual in my body's dimensions, save girth is more than I'd like. Transferring upper-body-weight to handlebars transmits shock forces to the shoulders and wrists, and takes more upper body muscle effort than makes for an enjoyable long ride, and impacts on seat comfort. If the bike is designed for sporty rides off-road, they should so note. I do go off-road once in awhile, and I can understand the advantage of leaning in, having gone off-road on motorcycles in my youth, though I go slow enough today, that it is not needed. The end result is, that I no longer go on long rides unless there is a need. Ten miles is about the most I can take on this bike without regretting it on the return leg, and for some time after returning. A more fit and younger individual would probably laugh at me. Fair enough. ... show more

  • Absolutely loving my new Hiknight E-Bike!
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the High Night E-Bike. From the moment I unboxed it, everything felt thoughtfully designed and built with quality in mind. The assembly was straightforward, and the bike itself feels solid and well-engineered. What really stands out is the smooth and powerful ride—the motor has just the right amount of torque to tackle hills and long rides without breaking a sweat. I’ve been using it for both commuting and weekend adventures, and it handles both urban and trail environments like a champ. The battery life is impressive, easily lasting 40+ miles on a single charge depending on the assist level. Another highlight is the comfort. The seat and frame geometry make for a relaxed, enjoyable ride even on longer trips. Plus, the built-in lights and display give it a modern, premium feel. If you’re considering an e-bike that’s dependable, fun, and stylish, the High Night is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their ride! ... show more
