I’ve been using the ZA04 electric bike for about a month now, and it’s been a total game-changer for my daily commute and weekend rides. Right out of the box, it was mostly assembled, and I had it ready to go in about 30 minutes. The 1000W peak motor gives a surprising amount of power — I can cruise at 22 mph easily, and it handles hills like a champ. The removable battery is super convenient; I just pop it off to charge inside my apartment. On a full charge using pedal assist, I get close to the promised 40 miles. The dual suspension really smooths out bumpy roads and trails, and I feel safe thanks to the solid disc brakes. The colorful display is a nice touch and helps me keep track of speed and battery life at a glance. Overall, this bike feels sturdy, stylish, and fun to ride — totally worth the investment!

Pros: Seems to be rugged. Easy to put together. Ride is decently smooth. Cons: Battery life is pretty bad. Motor is only rated as far as i can tell at 2nm. or 1/360th of a horse power. Throttle can be a little jumpy. Brakes are a little loud and needed tightening. Overall I've enjoyed this as a way to get some exercise in. I'm not going to be too harsh on the battery life since I am at about the maximum weight capacity for this. In my experience I can get around 12-15 miles on one charge with mostly using pedal assist on level 1 or 2 (there are 3 levels) I can usually get this to about 18 mph down hill or flat ground. This has all the functionality of a mountain bike, with a little bit of motor assistance. Considering its about the same cost as a mid range mountain bike and you get the E-Bike attributes as well. its worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. Like most things I want, I researched this to death. I went through Ytube videos and got caught up in the 'fat tire' craze with the dual motors and dual suspension and 28+ MPH. Don't get me wrong. If we do not have WWIII then I will shop for one of those next year. What I want NOW is a reason/excuse to exercise and this ebike is working for me. I wanted a bike that I can ride without power, which this one is. I wanted a bike that does not obviously look like an ebike, which this one is. Finally (don't tell my Wife) I am a cheap #!^%@ and I cannot lie. This bike is SO much less money than just about any other ebike that I've researched. Sunday, July 6 was my first day riding it. I went for short rides in the morning, afternoon and evening. 15-20 minutes each time. Which brings up the idea that ebikes make you cheat when it comes to exercise. I've read many owners reviews of their ebikes and most say that it encourages them to ride more which sounds like a lie. Sure enough, as I write this I am waiting for the roads to dry from our morning rain so I can ride again. Let's talk about displays: DO YOU REALLY WANT ANOTHER TOUCH-SCREEN? This display has 3 physical buttons that you will learn to use by feel which I did not take into account when shopping but I am so glad this is how it is. On the right side is the thumb-throttle. Again, I did not think I would want the throttle but glad it is there. If I am on a hill or just want assist I stay in MODE 1 and if a hill is too much I will push the throttle "just a bit" to get me to the top but then stay in MODE 1. MODE 2 is "pedal-assist" up to about 12 MPH (as I recall). MODE 3 is pedal assist up to 19-20 MPH. A word on 20 MPH: If you think that is not fast enough, be a passenger in any vehicle, have the driver go 20 MPH and then stick your head out of the window as far as you can safely do...........20 MPH is plenty fast. You may be a person that will never use a helmet so......think about it. Also, in all modes the throttle works (I believe) up to the max MPH. Oh, squeezing either brake stops the motor assist.......VERY important. Back to the beginning: I wanted exercise and this ebike is helping me to do just that. You can certainly get exercise on a treadmill or stationary bike....in your house......in a room......going nowhere. For me, I am on Social Security and I am cheap and if this ebike takes me to Halloween and suddenly dissolves then I will have considered it money well spent. **********This review has taken over an hour to write and I say this only as a Thank you to the many reviewers that have helped me out all these years.********

Im not sure if I wrote a review already. It’s been one month and it’s been back to back issues. Customers service was great and replaced the inner tube but a week later the air started leaking. Now the breaks are not working. I wish we weren’t so quick to write reviews until we have the product for months. This bike is new to have so many issues. Its unfortunate!
