    • Great pot, but use a paper filter

This pot had a learning curve for me. First time using it, the pause to serve button wasn't pressed enough so the coffee didn't all drip. There was a ton of grounds in the pot too. Second time using it, it worked fine but still tons of grounds. I was using the filter that came with it. So I checked that out and there's no hole in it?? So the coffee pours over the top of that and that's what you get to drink. This time I crammed a #2 cone paper filter and it worked great. All that aside it's a great pot! It makes about 2.5 of my mugs worth that I can just reheat as the day goes on. The biggest plus is that it will take a LOT of grounds, so it will make very strong coffee, which makes me very happy. ... show more

The automatic turn off is awesome!!!! When I leave work I do not think. Did I leave the coffee pot on at work? It turns off automatically and I tested it so I know. Very easy to use. For the price it’s perfect. I’ve bought over 25 coffee machines in the last 35 years. I highly recommend this one

    • Buyer beware: plastic in coffee

It’s been a very long time since I wrote a review but felt needed on this one. When I got it, I ran several pots of water through before the first use. There was a plastic smell but it lessened. When I finally made a pot the next day, I could smell a little plastic but didn’t think much of it. Realized as I finished my cup, I could taste plastic, my mouth and throat felt coated in plastic and my throat started to swell. Throat still sore and raw the next day. Returned it. Also fwiw, the buttons feel like a something on a child’s play toy and the plastic flimsy. Lesson on me..sometimes you get what you pay for. Please beware, and if you get it..don’t drink if you smell any plastic at all ... show more
