The fireplace was very well wrapped, when I opened the package, and I was so luck that my fireplace was not damaged during the transportation. The reason why I bought an electronic fireplace is because it is relatively safe and there are very few fire hazards. I put the fireplace in my living room, where there is a place for the fireplace. I can't wait to turn on the fireplace. Because of my favorite color is blue, so I set the color of the fire to blue, but of course you can also choose other colors according to your own preferences. I was shocked when the flame appeared in the fireplace. It was a real flame, it just a real fire no matter how far away you are, you cannot tell if it is a real flame. The price point is what enticed me to purchase this model since I bought a ‘60 inch. This model for the size is about $100 less than other competitors. As far as looks, I love it! I wall mounted as I live in an apartment complex and it was pretty easy to install and mount. Highly suggest having another person help you as the unit is heavy. The order came in 3 days early, also a plus. There are 12 different colors for the coals and flames as well as a dimmer button for how bright the display is. The remote is ok. Easy to use however I don’t believe it’s range of distance is that great. Not a deal breaker, though. As far as the heating element, I live in South Florida so won’t be using that feature. I accidentally turned it on and the heat output seemed okay but the heat output is only 12x2 inches so I’m sure it’d be ok to heat a small room but that’s about it. If you’re looking to spice up a room, purchase it. 😎

We built our own frame for the unit and the finished product is beautiful. We love the different light settings and options and we change it every so often just for fun. We haven’t used the actual heater just yet since it’s been warm but we did try it and it seemed to do the job.

This is the 2nd time to purchase. The first one six months ago we built a new house and used this in it. We sold it shortly after we got the house built. It was the first item we bought for both of the houses we built. Still in the process of building the new house so we won't know for a little bit if it was a great product. I will say this before we got the fireplace insert hooked up one of the LED lights was discolored but not bad enough to return it. So pay close attention before you install it because it was to late to send back.
