For just over $200, this is a great bike. The reason I'm giving this cheap bike 5 stars is simple. Looks great, fast ship, all there and packed well. Of course at this price you can't be surprised with two bent rims and some out of whack brakes and some cable rerouting. EXPECT to take it to a professional and get it properly put together and adjusted for about another $100... I'm a mechanic by trade and just couldn't tune it to work properly. Don't waste your money for the Amazon build either. Only a real bike shop will be able to properly straighten the rims and adjust the gearing to properly work. And it's not a $5K mountain bike either. But it's without question a great reliable smooth boardwalk cruiser for the Jersey shore as well as parks and pavement and light trails. NO rock hopping. You want a real mountain bike, then spend over $3K and expect yearly maintenance and tune up fees. But for recreational use, it's an excellent choice....

For this price zone (under Two Hundred) this is an excellent value in terms of materials and durability. Not to mention it's a great looking bike. But I've learned that if you aren't willing or able to make adjustments to brakes, tires, seats, chains, etc you'll be more satisfied with going to a local bike shop and paying extra. They are never perfect out of the box. Same goes for purchases from big box stores where employees don't generally build the bikes with care or knowledge. I gave this bike 5 stars but probably should be closer to a 4 because the freewheel was too tight and when my son stopped pedaling the chain drooped down. This was one adjustment I couldn't do and ended up taking it to a shop to have it looked at and it was simply the plastic gear guard that was on too tight and causing friction. They simply removed it - works perfect now. I would buy it again. The only other adjustment I made was to the brakes. Fortunately the gears shifted well out of the box. Yes, the directions are useless, but fortunately you shouldn't need them as long as you can can figure out the where the tires and handle bars go, then it's just turning a wrench.

This is a good bike for the price point. We have had a few minor issues tightening up some screws but my son loves it and uses it daily to ride to school. It is a nice looking bike also. The plastic fenders don't work well so we have taken them off.

Purchased this bike as a gift. The receiver LOVES the bike; noting that it was easy to put together and rides smoothly. Great bike for the price. No complaints so far. I will add that the bike was shipped on time and arrived about a day or two earlier than its expected arrival date. That was a pleasant surprise. 😊❤🚲 UPDATE: I initially gave this bike a 5 star 🌟 review... Here is my update after less than a month of the child riding the bike! Today is August 9, 2022. I contacted the seller on July 31, 2022 to express concerns that the bike was "locking up on the child when in motion," which was extremely dangerous. I was told to send pictures of the issue and they would further assess the issue and possibly pay to resolve the problem if I take the bike for repair at a local bike shop. I let seller know then, "No, I would rather exchange this bike now, since it was a gift and has been less than 3 weeks of the child riding it." Well the seller insisted I send pictures and then they would consider next steps. I sent pictures and a VIDEO of this bike... the bike is ((rusting)) and making loud noises. It barely pettles. I want to remind you that this is only after 3 weeks of riding. After all of the exchanges of communication, the seller stated, "We have received the photos you sent and sorry about this issue. We're willing to give you $50 as compensation for this issue." Sincerely yours,Elecony" Unbelievable, the bike lasted less than 3 weeks! I do NOT recommend! Update #3 8-12-22 I'm returning yet AGAIN, the seller sent me a return label, "Noting sorry about the inconvenience, please use this label to return at no cost to you, and refund will be sent to you once bike is returned." Okay, cool. Turns out, I was STILL charged $27.00 to ship this bike back to this seller! Again, I . DO . NOT . RECOMMEND! 🗣 I rarely write ((negative)) reviews. I bought both 24" and 26" bikes. One came with plastic fenders and no water bottle. The other came with water bottle but no fenders. Its hard to get the disk brakes aligned. Had to loosen calipers and re-adjust. Instructions are not intuitive, poor graphic representations. Tools are provided. Begin assembly days before gifted to reduce stress, not the night before. Nice products when completed. Cable lock mount and key are great addition.

Easy to assemble, but be sure to watch video since written assembly instructions are general, rather than specific to this bike model. Bike trouble free immediately after assembly without the need for any further adjustment. Quality bike in attractive color combo. Probably durable, since handlebars, seat post, etc. are heavy steel, not lighter aluminum. Recommend buyers not plan to modify this bike. (For a more upright riding position, prior to purchase, I always intended to upgrade the OEM handlebar & stem). I found bike very difficult to modify, since factory overtightened gear/brake levers where attached to handlebar, making removal EXTREMELY difficult. Without this problem, I would rate this bike 5 stars!

So far, great bike. The instructions were vague but everything came together well except for the brakes and disc brake alignment. It took a while (searching YouTube videos were not helpful) to find out how to adjust the brake pads. I've enclosed an image to show which screws need to be adjusted to move the brake pads away from the discs so they don't run while you turn the wheel.

The first thing I do not like about the bike is the seat is pretty bad. The second thing is that the brakes were misaligned and I had to align it properly. The third one is that now my pedal is broke and i was wondering if you guys can send me a replacement parts for the pedals because I literally used it for 1 week and i barely used it and today I was riding and the pedal broke.
