This is a beautiful set of dishes. They are thick and sturdy.I see a few small flaws but they are not a deal breaker. I ordered one set to see if I’d like it and ordered a second set two days later. I highly recommend these.

The media could not be loaded. This is the first set I have personally purchased, but my son and daughter-in-law gave me a set previously as a Christmas gift. This pattern is beautiful. The mugs have become the favorite in our household. The handles stay cool even when the liquid is microwaved. (But I do wish this pattern had pasta bowls, even if they had to be purchased separately.) I gave this product 4 stars because some of the dinner plates in both sets had blemishes, as shown in the video. I contacted Elama via email about how to handle getting replacements for the ones from the set that were a gift. It was a couple of business days later I received a response, which I felt was quick because the company is headquartered in California, in an area under evacuation due to the horrible fires happening in that region. They will send me replacements. I will need to send them another email about the defects in the set I just received and purchased myself. Despite the blemishes, I will continue to buy additional sets as long as I continue to receive good customer service. However, I would like to see Elama beef up its quality control standards. It would be helpful if Amazon updated this entry to include the actual names of the stoneware’s variant colors. In order to register the stoneware with Elama, I had to go to Elama’s website and scroll through the pictures of the different sets to discover its name and corresponding item code. The variant I have is called Ivory Lotus. The blue pattern is Indigo Lotus. Yet the Amazon lists the variants as Ivory White and Indigo Blue. ... show more

I am beyond impressed with this dinnerware! It is absolutely beautiful! It is so classy and perfect for any occasion. I ordered 3 sets. The packages arrived very well packed and secure. I did not encounter any breakage, but in one set there was some glaze damage on a couple pieces, so I contacted the customer support number the company provided. In each box of dishes was a professional card stating if there were any breakage or product, to please contact their customer and they would replace the items. So I called and the service person was kind and courteous and said they would ship out replacement plates immediately. I am beyond impressed. The dishes do well in the dishwasher and microwave.
