EIOT Dongle Great - Slow Support
Setup was quick and easy. The box includes the USB dongle and an EIOTClub SIM card with 1GB of data for 24 hours, enough time to test the device before deciding whether to purchase more data. The dongle works well and can be plugged into any USB power source, including a car or power bank, to create a mobile hotspot. The setup interface is basic but lets you change the SSID and a few other settings. There’s no VPN support, so this is best viewed as a simple, on-the-go hotspot. One important limitation is that you can’t use another provider’s SIM card out of the box. EIOTClub requires a specific firmware update to unlock compatibility with other SIM cards. Support was slow in my experience, taking about three days to respond with the firmware version which I guess overall isnt bad, but I had a trip coming and needed it sooner as I misplaced my eiotclub sim card and had to use another until a replacement can arrive. The data pricing isn’t the cheapest, but it’s reasonable for low usage. Overall, I like the dongle and the data service/speeds, and it’s a good short-term option for travel. ... show more

Great value item, simple to use!
I've only used this for about 2 weeks but I am pleased with the great wifi service I am able to get in the rural area where we vacationed and no one was able to get cell service. The size is perfect, small enough to put in a pocket but not so small you'll loose it! Adding additional time is easy. I really feel this is a great value item for anyone who travels for work or leisure and doesn't want to use their phones limited hotspot or McDonalds wifi (nothing against McD, I love McD fries). ... show more

Good product, lousy customer service
I'm torn because the product serves it's need but the customer service is lacking in a huge way and isn't honest in their claim of 24 hour service. I've been waiting for them to add my unused data to the new dongle for 2 weeks and i was told that they needed 24 hours. Still waiting and have requested a refund 3 times now. However, this mobile hotspot worked for my needs. I currently don't have a cellphone and I needed a way to have an Internet connection when I wasn't in my apartment. being able to purchase a data plan as I need it and still have a strong connection wherever I go when I don't have mobile service, I plug this into my power bank and I'm a mobile hotspot. plugging into a power bank makes it possible for me and 3 others to use the E10TCLUB where Internet signal is week or non existent. I live in an apartment building where our connection always drops. we have a laundry area and even people with a cellphone have a lot of trouble trying to keep connected while trying to operate the machines I've been able to help them by letting them sign into the E10TCLUB which has been helpful and hopefully they have looked into buying one of these as well. ... show more

Convenient Product
This is actually really convenient. Reviews had me half and half, but I needed something quick for Wifi for work while hitting road. This shipped and delivered same day. All I literally did was take it out box and plug it in and Wifi started up. Comes with the free 1 GB for the day. I used it for a bit until back at internet. I like you can refill. I dont like that the website is in a different language. I dont trust my card info on sites like that. But it shows how much you have left. ... show more

Works BEAUTIFULLY!!
Omg works like a charm.!!! I use it on my laptop for work when I’m on the go, and the connection is amazing!! You literally just plug and go. If you need to buy more data, just scan the QR code on the dongle and it immediately resets. I just wish the paid gigs didn’t expire because I don’t need to use it all the time. But it’s perfect for on the go. No more spotty hotspot.! No more slow connections when on the go! Great value! Great coverage! ... show more

Reasonable priced hotspot
Easy to use. Really saved us when we needed WiFi to run our boutique. Just know it doesn't warn you when data is running out, unless you can see the green light flashing.
