Not only does it do away with the barrel jack that plugs into the wall, but the included Bluetooth dongle saved me. For the Bluetooth dongle, I found out that the Bluetooth module in my pc would drop the controllers connection if you turned away from the system or went about 3 feet away, but plugging in the dongle and reconnecting fixed the issue entirely. I will say, the included usb-c power connector didn’t seem to work, but grabbing a different usb-c to usb-c connector did the trick. Maybe someone else might get luckier, I didn’t but I have a ton of usb-c cables. Also, it’s incredibly small and lightweight, so it may fall move around a ton. Overall, it’s super easy to use, works fine, and sounds great. Would highly recommend this to anyone. ... show more

The USBC connection at the front of the adapter is very loose and the cable won't stay in I already cleaned it out and it's still falls out very easily and doesn't stay in place

works as advertised, easy to connect, cost way less than the original play station variant which is nice. video and sound quality is great since its wired. keep in mind this is made only for psvr2 as of right now to there isnt much to say about compatibility. quality is good other than the usb c port for the psvr 2 cable is quite loose and tends to slip out of place frequently which is a big no no if playing active movement games like beat saber and such ... show more

    • it was ok at first, now its a hassle to play with.
good at the start, but after lite 4 hours the usb type c port became loose and now falls out after a light tug on the cable. i would just buy the one from playstation. don't waste your time and money like me. :(

the usb bluetooth dongle needed a specific driver to work, and the usb c port for the psvr2 is not very secure, for the rest it works as expected.

At first I wasn’t sure about if this was going to work and wondered if I should have got the actual PlayStation brand adapter but it works great so far haven’t had any problems. It took like 10 minutes to set up only because you have to plug the usb that powers the adapter into a 3.0 usb port if you plug it into a 2.0 it won’t work and you’ll get a error message. But yeah works really good 10/10 for the price! ... show more
