My journey began when my gardener went out of business, and no one was available right away to clean up my yard. I'm a 5'7" mid-size female. I bought my first blower vac by Worx just before purchasing the Ego Power 880 Blower, and I wanted to dedicate the Worx solely as a vacuum. So, after learning about CFM and MPH, I wanted to get the strongest blower I could find. So, this is my first time using a blower. I never used the blower on the Worx, just the vacuum setting, which is fantastic. I have fake grass in my front yard, and I made the mistake of having my entire backyard landscaped in rocks! Terrible decision! The fake grass is fantastic with the vac and blower! But the rocks are a challenge... UNTIL NOW! Except for the weeds! Eek! But I got a great workout pulling those, and the plan is to use an electric sprayer with vinegar to keep them at bay! Ok, back to the Ego Power 880... If weight is a concern, the machine is lightweight. It's easy to carry. It includes a shoulder strap, so you don't need to get the add-on for the 880 cfm. It holds one 52-volt monster battery that feels like it weighs 1 to 2 pounds, which feels heavier than the machine itself. It has a 45-minute run time per battery. It came with 2. It charges rapidly. But the charger does make noise, which is not bad at all. I charge mine in the garage. In a minute, the whole cemented side yard was cleared of maple spinners. And I went on a spree, blowing the windows, the patio, and anything I felt looked dusty. I tested it on the rocks in the backyard, and although it rained yesterday, it still blew out the wet maple seeds. A few rocks do go flying, but it's not a big deal, and it's expected. It didn't affect the landscaping whatsoever. It cleared the spinners out instantly and refreshed the look of the rocks immediately. It's amazing. Now I get it when people say it's fun to use. IT'S SO FUN, I LOVE IT! POWERFUL!!!!!!!!! And lightweight! This thing is like carrying a purse. Unlike a vac, it strictly blows dust away so it doesn't get dirty the way a vac/blower/mulcher does. But I still like to use bleach wipes to clean my equipment out of love and care. I am in love with this machine! I have a dedicated wheeled cart just to hold my blower vacs, extensions, and charging apparatus. And I can't wait for the snow, because I'll be on top of it as soon as 8 am strikes, using this machine every day like it's my favorite workout equipment! I am a big fan of EGO products, including this EGO POWER+ + leaf blower. I have 3 acres, and it does a fantastic job of helping me do the job quickly and efficiently. I do happen to have several extra batteries on hand since I have a larger area to maintain. Larger lot or not, this bundle comes with two batteries, and you will be good to go. It is quieter than my former EGO blower and doesn't weigh as much. Easy to direct where I want the power to be and fun to use. Love it. ... show more

My son has several Ego tools and finally got me interested in switching to some of them, including a trimmer and multi-panel light. His blower is the 765 and I was going to get the same one, but then this 880 just came out. I didn't need it immediately, so I let some Amazon points build up, figuring I'd pull the trigger this spring. Finally ordered it and looked forward to trying it out. Used points and got it free! Once it arrived, it assembled quickly and I popped a battery on it, as both arrived with a couple bars left on the charge meter. Gave the trigger a full squeeze and it moved my arm backwards! Turbo mode is insane. Even without turbo mode, if you are blowing leaves out of a rock bed, you have to be careful with the variable trigger so that your don't send rocks flying. Using this compared to my previous blower is like a move from a Pinto to a Ferrari. The unit itself is pretty lightweight and a majority of the weight comes from adding the battery, of course. Seems like a very solidly built unit with some carbon fiber and the new color screen. It isn't tiring using. On the higher speeds and turbo mode, it has a rather high pitch. Nothing too annoying, but my son said it sounds different from his 765. If you are thinking about getting an 880, do it, you won't be disappointed. ... show more

This blower is a beast. It has more power than my 120 V Black & Decker. If you buy it off Amazon, you get two batteries but if you buy it at Lowe’s, you only get one battery. The only thing that I’m disappointed with is if you use up one battery and try to put it on the charger it won’t charge because it’s overheated and you have to wait for it to cool down. I was hoping to be able to cycle two batteries to continuously work unfortunately that is not the case you have to stop and wait for the batteries to cool down so I cannot get through all of my yardwork even with two batteries. Best part of the product is you just grab and go and you don’t have to fight snagging extension cords. ... show more

Giving this five stars because the power is nothing less than amazing, I mean absolutely nuts powerful. Easily the best I've ever owned, to include what I HAD considered powerful gas blower. This EGO blower is mind blowing powerful. You won't regret it. I'll also add that while the battery is heavy, overall - and perhaps due to the lower handles allowing for easy two hand use - this isn't nearly as heavy as I had feared. VERY manageable which is important for me as I'll use to dry my '25 M5. I need to add that the box has been opened previously. If by EGO when adding an additional battery then they need to do a better job. I bought the unit with two 4.0ah batteries). I'll give this a "go" but if anything at all seems wrong I'll be returning it immediately. I'll update this review with continued use. ... show more
