This is my EGO line up so far and I'm so impressed with this brand its insane these mowers and power tools are so quiet and smooth to use you can run them for hours non stop without charge with the right battery this 22 INCH mower is insanely smooth and light to use the self propelled motors are such a help and this mower cuts so well it leaves beautiful lines in the grass the cut quality is insane and the screen that shows the battery percentage really helps on letting you know how much time you have left these 6amp battery's have yet to die on me and I've used it to cut my grass my neighbors grass and even blowed leaves and the 6amp batterys still has 3 bars remaining I am so impressed I will continue to keep expanding my inventory with ego this brand is so amazing I'll never go back to gas ever. ... show more

    • Loving it so far
Size: 22" Style: w/(2) 6.0Ah Batteries, Super Composite
Had it for 3 weeks now and mowed about 4 times. SO much better than my previous Ego mower (the 800 model). No transmission issues, smooth transition from self-propelled to push/pull. 1 inch added width is nice. I got (2) 6AH batts and they do my whole yard with about 70% total remaining. My old one would take my whole 7.5, and some of my 4 to get done. New batts, but seems like better power distro. Also it cuts better than my old one did, I think the lift is better. Very happy with the newer model. One thing, it is heavier than my old one, pushing feels similar to my old Honda, so self propelled is ideal. ... show more

    • Powerful suction with a quality cut
Size: 22" Style: w/(2) 6.0Ah Batteries, Super Composite
I like how this mower arrives nicely boxed and is all put together. Have mowed with it three times, lawn is one third of an acre. I tried mulching but didn't like how much the grass clumped up, so replaced the mulching blade with the high lift one. Used the rear discharge chute and it did a fantastic job. Mower is fairly easy to operate and control. I use the normal setting, height set on number 6. There have been a few times where when I released the self propel lever that the mower kept going. Has only happened 5 times in 3 hours of mowing. Just something to be aware of. The dual batteries in the mower give it a nice weight and help hold the front of the mower down when the ground gets uneven or bumpy. Mowing in 60 degree weather the batteries performed well, and I had 35% of life left when I finished the lawn. Temperatures dropped recently and I mowed when it was in the mid 40 s. Batteries ran down much faster and were dead before I could finish the lawn. Best features of this mower are the compact storage space, it is reasonably quiet and I don't need ear plugs. Also, it has great lift and suction. Lawn looks lovely when finished. The battery charger, recharges both batteries in less than 2 hours. It is a bit noisy with the fan running, but not bad. I am glad I got the 22 inch over the 21 inch model. Plastic deck isn't as easy to clean as a traditional metal or aluminum deck. I used a warm damp rag or paper towels and a plastic scraper. Have to clean it after each mowing. Hoping the mower and batteries will last 4 or 5 years. Satisfied with the mower so far. ... show more

    • Absolutely Do NOT Recommend
Size: 22" Style: w/(2) 6.0Ah Batteries, Super Composite
I received my EGO and began mowing in May 2026. On the fifth use, the LCD display started at 97% and dropped within minutes to 0%. Although the battery was still charged and I was able to mow, the LCD display was not working. I called EGO and was first told I had to bring it to a place to be fixed. I explained the reason I purchased from Amazon is that I don’t have the means to transport a push mower in my vehicle. I received a call back from a supervisor stating that they were going to send me a replacement mower and asked that I put my mower in the same box and return it which I was planning to do. A few days later, I received an email from EGO telling me that before I could receive a replacement, I had to take a video of the LCD display dropping from 97% to 0%. I let them know that I have better things to do with my time and I will never purchase an EGO product again, I also let my family and neighbors know not to purchase. As for the actual mower, I’m not impressed. It feels cheap and I don’t like it. ... show more

The best!! I have a 1/3 acre to cut and this works perfectly. Takes a little over an hour to do and the battery is still half charged. Best investment for me Because of the convenience. No gas no oil no spark plug to change.

    • Great, plenty of power for my 1/4 acre
Size: 22" Style: w/(2) 6.0Ah Batteries, Super Composite
Excellent, for the price. Probably overkill for 1/4 acre.

    • In my opinion!
Size: 22" Style: w/(2) 6.0Ah Batteries, Super Composite
Ok, I am very happy with this 22 inch, composite deck, two battery mower. I also have a Honda 21 inch composite mulching deck which I haven’t used since I bought this EGO mower. I mow 1+ acres and have to change batteries 3/4 of the way through. The charger that comes with it is sufficient and charges two batteries at the same time. If money is not a factor then I would recommend buying one. ... show more
