The look of this is great. The functionality of it for the cat seems like it would be great also but the air cleaning device is making a terrible high-pitched sound. I’m not sure if I have a defective unit or if this is how they all are, but it is awful. I had to almost immediately turned it off because it was such a strong high-pitched sound. I know if it’s hurting my ears it must be even worse for the animals. ... show more

    • Esthetically lovely but the exhaust fan emits a horrible smell

Let me start off by saying that I love the design of this litter box. It's awesome to have a litter pan that I don't have to hide away. However, the exhaust fan on this thing made my entire room smell weirdly dirty, constantly. Even with regular scooping, even after dismantling and cleaning the entire thing; I even went as far as to tape a dryer sheet to the fan, and it still blows out air that smells dirty (for lack of a better word). I thought the smell of cat poo/pee was bad but this smell is unbearable for me. It's constant and no matter how many candles I light, or how many oil diffusers, air freshener, incense, etc I use, I can still only smell the weird smell coming out of the fan. So today, I made the choice to unplug it for good and when I tell you the air instantly started to smell better, it truly did. Pretty frustrating to pay extra for the exhaust fan feature now that I know I'll never be able to use it again without making my house stink. If you'd like to save yourself some money and irritation, I'd suggest going with a similar box without the exhaust fan and just scoop it daily. ... show more

Replaced all of my litter boxes for this! It absolutely works at keeping the odor contained. My cats love it! I like how I can turn it so it looks more like a vase with plants as opposed to a kitty pooper! The liner is also for traveling as a portable litter box!

Arrived sooner than expected. Rabbits love it so far. Win - win. This looks much better in my office than a traditional deep “rabbit/cat box”. I hope it keeps some of their “Cocoa Puffs” and hay pieces inside and cuts down on the mess.
