This will run on both AC as well as DC. The plug/ connectors are included. The bars allow one to hatch eggs of many sizes, though I am not certain that one could hatch duck eggs. It comes with a packing that they warn one to keep as it doubles as insulation when it is cold, keeping the heat in and preventing drafts from killing your eggs. The price is good. This incubator is versatile. It's ideal for anyone who has multiple breeds of birds. While you can't hatch multiple breeds simultaneously, you can alternate. It's a decent model, and I love its AC and DC power options. I've lost several eggs during power outages. The water port is external and can easily be filled with a squirt bottle. The rollers are adjustable, and there is enough headroom for larger birds to hatch comfortably. I have used numerous incubators, and this one lands in one of the top 10 slots. ... show more
