Features

  • TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY CONTROL AND DISPLAY - This incubator has a LED display that shows the temperature inside the incubator and allows you to adjust them as needed. It also has a dual-zone water surface that keeps the humidity at the optimal level for your eggs and avoids opening the lid that could disrupt the hatching process.
  • AUTOMATIC WATER REFILL - This incubator has a gravity waterer that refills the water reservoir automatically, saving you time and hassle. It also has a water level indicator that reminds you when to add water.
  • 360VIEW - This incubator has a 360transparent lid that lets you watch the hatching progress without disturbing the eggs. It also has a curved panel that provides more space and comfort for the chicks.
  • AUTOMATIC EGG TURNING - This incubator has an automatic egg turning function that rotates the eggs every two hours to simulate the natural hatching condition and improve the hatching rate.
  • ADJUSTABLE AIR OUTLETS - This incubator has adjustable air outlets that allow you to control the airflow and ventilation inside the incubator. It also has a turbo duct and 24 air outlets that distribute the heat evenly and prevent direct airflow on the eggs. The external insulator helps to maintain a stable temperature and increase the hatching rate in cold weather.

  • Great beginner incubator
Size: M12 Style: 2.M12-Blue (Not Recommended)
The media could not be loaded. Ordered this incubator last minute to hatch eggs from a hen that I had lost by predator. I have used it twice so far. The first hatched 3 out of 8 and the second hatched 1 out of 12. I do not blame the incubator for the low hatch rates however. On the first hatch there were eggs that ended up not being fertile and on the second hatch they were almost 3 week old eggs before I was finally able to get them set. Only 3 of those 12 eggs ended up being viable. As far as incubator quality...it feels sturdy, and appears like it will hold up to use. It is extremely easy to set up, operate and clean afterwards, which makes it nice for in home use. It's small enough to easily set on a kitchen counter and not be in the way. Some things to consider before purchasing: The temperature stayed consistent although it ran slightly lower than the set temp. You may want to increase the set temp slightly to get your desired range. You'll want to add a hygrometer/thermometer inside the incubator to keep an eye on those numbers. I found the humidity to be the most challenging issue with this incubator. The water bottle while it does deliver water to the incubator, I found to be difficult to adjust and it kept the humidity higher than necessary (around 80%). In the future I would dry hatch instead or just manually add water as needed through the tube. I have had zero issues with the automatic turner with the chicken eggs. I saw several negative comments in the reviews about the turner but I never personally experienced any issues. As long as the lid was secured correctly the turner has worked. It's easy to do a test turn to make sure it's working if you're not sure. Overall I am pleased with this unit and will update once I have run a dry hatch through it. Would love for it to be able to hold more than 12 chicken eggs but so far it has done it's job with the eggs that were viable. ... show more

  • Does What It Should
So far I've used this incubator to hatch bantam chickens and coturnix quail. 7/7 bantam chicks hatched without issue, no problems. 12/12 quail chicks hatched BUT I ended up doing an assisted hatch for 2 because the eggs rolled and got stuck on the lip. The angle they got stuck at prevented them from rotating, so they basically punched a big hole where they pipped and dried out the membrane (they're supposed to go horizontally while punching holes in the shell then push up hard to tear the membrane once they go all the way around). Next time I'll place something to keep the eggs in the center so the late hatchers don't get shoved into the lip again. It was easy to set up and easy to clean/sanitize, which are both major pluses for me. It is also very small, so you can put it a lot of places where larger incubators simply won't fit (the main reason I bought it). Some minor issues: Incubator runs slightly cooler than the temp is set at even with the styrofoam cover for insulation. Not a big deal but you will have to set it slightly higher to get your desired temperature. All my chicks hatched right on time, which meant the incubator held temp. well and wasn't too cool even though I didn't fiddle with it once I got it set. I do keep the room they're in around 75-80F, so you may have to bump it up more than a degree to get it where you need it. The turner worked great for the chicken eggs but for quail eggs it was fair. It limits how many you can put in and jostles them around pretty roughly. For the future I'll probably get a 3D printed quail turner off ebay or etsy to increase the number of eggs I can put in and make sure they don't get cracked on accident. Water feeder is a great idea that doesn't work well in execution. Just manually add a little water when needed via the tube; it only takes a minute. You should be checking your temp./humidity via a separate and accurate gauge in the incubator anyway to make sure there aren't any problems. I dry hatch so I didn't add any water until lockdown, and it was easy to add a bit of water to slowly bump the humidity up to where I needed it. Once the humidity was raised, it stayed up pretty well. Overall I'm pretty impressed. Can't speak to the durability or longevity of the unit, but short term it does what its supposed to: it hatches the eggs. ... show more

  • Trial and error
Size: M12 Style: 2.M12-Blue (Not Recommended)
I have hatched twice with this incubator. Needless to say it was a learning process. I had no previous experience. First hatch was not great. I had used a secondary thermometer and hydrometer. The incubator temperature was more accurate than my external as I ended up with an early hatch following the external thermometer. Second, humidity is way too high if you use the water bottle. With a following hatch I ended up using the shoe string method and ended up with consistent humidity. Easy fix but took 2 hatches to figure out. Put the string through the hole and into the incubator resivour. The other end is in a bowl of water on the outside of the incubator. Play with the amount of string inside until you get the desired humidity. Insert more of the string to increase humidity for lockdown. It is much more consistent this way. We will see how this hatch goes. It works pretty good once you figure out the humidity. The turner works great. I can fit 24 quail eggs in it with 2 in each slot. For me, I was not sure if this was something I would want to continue so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it. If you don’t mind trial and error and don’t want to spend a ton, this is a good option. ... show more

  • Super Easy to Use!!
I bought this not wanting to invest an arm and a leg in an incubator with low expectations. But this thing is awesome. It had 100% hatch rate and I only filled the bottle 3 times during the 21 days. You set it to 100 and keep the bottle feeding water and it's that easy. Highly pleased. Highly recommended! ... show more
