I was trying to find an LED insert for my fireplace. This unit not only fit perfectly, but also had a nice wide, trim flange fit perfect with my opening. This unit was completely plug and play after assembling the trim flange, and it was very easy to do. I think it took me all of 15 minutes. The fire is realistic enough and the crackling sound has five levels just like the brightness. As far as LED fireplaces go, this one is pretty cool, and again, my biggest thrill with it is the fact that it fit my old fireplace opening ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This appears to be good quality. Install was super easy, I only had to install 1 out of 4 trim pieces as that’s all that would work on my entertainment center. The lights are realistic and don’t give the cheap, fake look that you see in a lot of electric log-type things. The heater part is okay at best….its enough to knock the chill off the room but certainly not enough to heat it alone. ... show more

The frame has 3 levels of brightness which is good and the heat can be temperature controlled.

The media could not be loaded. I previously bought a TV cabinet without a fireplace but this winter decided to buy this one from Amazon. I'm thrilled! It allows me to keep our central heating at 70°, but where we sit in the living room is nice and toasty! Exact fit- took it out of packing, plugged it in, set it in cabinet and there it is!     • Beware of faulty batteries
The fireplace is nice and has a nice flickering flame. When we put the batteries in the remote the remote got extremely hot. Opened it up and the batteries were red hot. Put new batteries in and it works fine.

After framing the inset it fit nicely in fireplace opening. Has 3 flame settings that look very real. Added the ambiance of fireplace without the smoke and wood. Would highly recommend.
