So I got this for overlanding to put into my truck topper camper I am having built. As of now I am using it in a small bedroom and for that type of space it delivers a decent enough cool down of the room. When the room is at about 85 degrees the Wave 2 will cool it down to around 75 to 72 degrees when I have it on normal (not max) at 60 degree setting. A must is using the drain tube and making sure it drains as if you don't drain water when it is full (has a digital icon for this) the cool air will not be very cool. All in all this is decent enough for a small room or van or truck camper top. I have only used at 85 degrees but plan on testing it at 90, 95 and 100 whenever is gets to the those temps outside here. I will probably be testing and reviewing the Wave 2 and other Ecoflow products on my Youtube channel once I'm on the road in my truck.topper camper and have my Youtube channel up and running.

I'll start by saying I love the Cooling ability for small spaces and the battery plus solar options. That would all get 5 stars but I'm taking 4 away because I believe fixing the poorly designed condensation problems is absolutely neglected. It comes with a drain hose that is entirely too small and will 100% block any water trying to flow out of the hose. That water builds up and floods out of openings inside the device! Even worse if you stack it on top of the snap in battery. Now that water flows directly onto the battery and it's power connector. Water plus electricity is a fire hazard! I've somewhat resolved the issue by plugging in a 1/4" hose that happens to fit without the connector that came with the device. If this 1/4" hose is 6" then it will drain fine however if it's several feet long then the device doesn't have the capability to push water past the pressure inside the hose. I cut a breather slot in the top of the hose and it immediately drained a cup of water. So.. either a y hose with a breather or keep widening the hose output is going to be my workaround. Ecoflow, All that is needed is a bigger drain port! Why are you not listening to countless people reporting "design problem!" And allowing water to leak on electrical connectors needlessly? It's such an easy fix! Bigger port and hose!

Purchased this after a hot week of camping over the 4th of July. Finally looked like I would be able to use it last weekend 9/20. Temps were going to be in the low 90’s and not cooling off much over night. I planned on using this in a tent, well it didn’t work at all for me. It would blow cold ish air, but in no way did it cool off my tent. In reality it was raised the temp in the tent a few deg over outside temps. Contacted customer service and have to send it back so they can test it out. Don’t understand why I can’t just return it. I will be looking at a house stand alone unit to better fit my needs.

Hear such good reviews, so I purchased one for my semi truck....not a good product for semi trucks, plus unit leaks a lot and has a janky way to dispose the water it accumulates. Waited 2 months for it to deliver and paid $1300 for it. When I got it, didn't come with a ac/outlet plug. Sold separately. Spoke with a representative of the company said that it did. So after that tried to purchase one, its out of stock for 3 month or so. Im just disappointed. Nothing more or less just disappointing.... thanks a lot ecoflow

The product works great you just really gotta stay on top of making sure you drain out the condensation water. Their customer service team was extremely helpful with any issues I ran into, one of the most positive experiences I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with.

Do not recommend at all. Very overpriced for what it actually does. We are in the Arizona summer and thought this would be perfect for our very, very small camper, but turns out you need to stand right in front of it to feel the air at all. Would probably be fine for when it’s not actually hot out.. Also it is not returnable!!!! Beware!!

I order the unit because it is a portable unit with the option of a battery that could perform up to 8 hrs also because is not a big unit the noise is probably less that a bigger unit and I did try the unit running on a regular house outlet and honestly I had high expectations for it but it fail me ( let it run for 5 hrs ) and the small restroom did keep the same temperature the restroom is well insulated and honestly the heat that unit puts out around the tubes is almost equivalent to the same cold air that the unit produces :/ no I will not recommend it specifically for the price. Update : I was offered a full refund and I did send the unit back, I was told that whenever they received it my refund will be processed and I just got an email that I’m only getting 1/2 of my money back???? The battery was shipped on a separate order and I never received the battery I did contact Amazon & the seller and provided proof of purchase/payment/shipping/delivery information also the conversation between selle & buyer so I’m waiting on their response and this review will be updated a soon I get their response ( this was a horrible experience )
