Bought this light since I have a lot of DeWalt products and batteries but didn't feel like spending too much money on a DeWalt work light. I've used this light a bunch of times for work around the house as well in the Attic to pull cable. The build quality is very good and the light is very bright for its size and weight. It has 4 modes, Cool white Bright and Low and Warm white Bright and Low. I like the low intensity settings for areas where the light is closer to the work surface as it prevents blinding you. The light allows for various angles to be set so it illuminates what's required. There is a little play in the unit I have but it's not a deal breaker. It has a battery gauge on its side as well as a USB A and C for charging other devices. I've used it with the DeWalt 1.5Ah battery only and it seems to be super efficient. I haven't seen excess power draw or any issue with the battery. I definitely recommend this product.

This product is a great value for the money, made of great quality, easy to use, very durable and versatile. It is compatible with most Dewalt 20v lithium-ion batteries, it has intelligent battery protection, it has 2 large super bright COB LED lights and 4 lighting modes, the lamp rotates 120-140 degrees, the USB port supports charging for both Apple & Android phones, it also has a Type-C charging port and it is a decent size and light-weight, so it's easy to carry around and needless to say, it functions great! I highly recommend this product!

Very bright we have a 3000lm and this is much brighter. The warmer color setting is good for reading. Also fast charging my phone! I didn't expect the side leds showing remaining battey charge level. We bought this mostly to charge our phones off the dewalt battery and we needed a bright light for hurricanes here. Well built seems durable. I will update my review if things change. Of note it says not waterproof, that is not an issue for us. It says remove battery if not in use.

Like so many of these work lights, it's hard to get them positioned correctly so they are illuminating the project but not blinding you. It's bright, batteries last a good while. Several hours on a charged 2ah dewalt battery, I imagine my 5ah batt's would last for a day or two. I do not store it with a battery on it, the instructions say not to, and other reviews affirm that it will run the battery down. I work with dewalt tools every day, so it made sense to buy a light that uses batteries I already own. After using it off and on for a few months it still works fine, but the swivel point has some slack in it now, still holds itself in position but it flops around a little bit. I don't like that I have to cycle thru the settings to turn it off. Once it's lit for a minute or two a single click should turn it off. But that's a small critique.

I was initially very pleased when I received the product and tried it out. Very bright, and seemed like a long run time. After placing a fully charged battery on this device and leaving it sitting on the shelf for a week and a half I found that the battery was drained. Strange, it was a fully charged battery when I put it on. Placing the battery on the DeWalt charger and attempting to charge results in a rapid flashing red light. In my case, that means the battery is fried and no longer usable. At this point I assumed I just had an old battery that was at the end of its lifespan. I attached my second and last 20V max battery on this product and ordered a replacement for the bad battery and then when about my day. Fast-forward a couple of weeks later and the same situation repeat itself: this work light has fried my other battery as well, as it will no longer charge and I get a flashing rapid red light on my DeWalt charger. I am kicking myself for not discovering this sooner and returning this product inside the return window. I wound up tossing the light in the trash. UPDATE: The manufacturer has since reached out to me, has issued a refund for the product, and requested that I send it back to them for research. Since I’ve already toss it, unfortunately I can’t do that, but it is encouraging to see them doing the right thing by their customers. Again – I was very impressed with the performance of the product (until it ate my batteries, of course), and I suppose it’s possible that I simply had a defective product, so if you insist on purchasing this, please do your due diligence and ensure that you’ve completed your testing before the return period is up.

Light is very bright on the highest level. It illuminated my entire 2 car garage. Lower settings will be great for general use. Haven't used it long enough to check battery drain, but expect it will drain quickly on high level. Hinge/swivel seems a little weak. Very pleased with product overall.
