This is the second adjustable height office desk chair that I have purchased from the YIS Store on Amazon and I am COMPLETELY pleased with this new chair. In fact, I am just as pleased as I am with my first drafting height chair I purchased a few months ago. The chair comes with all of the necessary hardware, wheels, bolts and a hex key to easily assemble, following very clearly described instructions. Each part is expertly packed so that it arrives to your address in perfect shape. Once assembled, all that was left to do was to sit in it to confirm that my choice of office desk chair was the absolute correct one! The chair is ergonomic and also swivels easily and rolls just as effortlessly. The chair also has an easy adjustable knob that tightens or loosens the back of the chair for a perfect fit. I cannot recommend desk chairs from the YIS Store enough. They provide an excellent product at a very competitive price and have amazing customer service. After more than 1-year of working from home, my back was in need of some serious comfort and support. The reviews on this chair were spot-on: totally adjustable, including the armrests, great comfort for sitting hour upon hour, and very easy to put together. What the other reviews didn't mention was the GREAT customer support for this product. Due to a manufacturing flaw, one of the casters wouldn't go all the way in (there was a small nub of steel protruding from one of the base legs). I emailed the company, per the instructions, and they were great! They responded promptly and sent a whole new chair to correct the problem. This chair was pretty easy to put together and is comfortable. Maybe not the most comfortable chair, but still plenty comfortable. The wheels are rather cheap but still work. Once in a while the chair will suddenly sink to the lowest height when you sit in it, but that's not often. Overall it's a good chair and works well in the sewing room. ... show more

The chair seat is comfortable and it was fairly easy to assemble. No extra tools needed. The package even came with extra screws. I do wish the wheels were a bit smoother, but otherwise nice office chair!

    • Really easy to put together and glides perfectly
I adore this chair, it was extremely easy to put together (like 5 minutes) and it glides perfectly across my hardwood floors. I will say that it takes some getting used to not having arms on my desk chair but it looks way more sleek and the padding on the bottom is really comfortable.

This is a great chair for a living room/office space! Or if you want your office space to feel less....office-y. I just have a desk in my living room, so this is a perfect addition to my little work-from-home space. The cushion is pretty stiff, in a good way. It feels soft, but I don't just sink into it. In an ideal world, I would give this 4.5 stars. It's a great office chair but it does have a cheaper feel to it. I couldn't get one of the screws into the bottom at all....the side of the back panel just abruptly ends and feels like it is poorly stitched together...and (while it works perfectly fine) the cylinder that allows the chair to go up and down looks like it should have a cap or bottom surface? You don't see that from just looking at the chair, it is underneath the very bottom. However when I was assembling it (which only took about 10-15 minutes), I was looking for the bottom in the box. I've uploaded pictures of all of these things I'm talking about. And the chair doesn't recline back or have any move to it. This is not an issue for me at all, but just know, if you lean back....you're not going anywhere. Overall I'm very satisfied with this chair! I hope it lasts a long time! UPDATE: In just under a week, the chair is already starting to squeak when I sit down, move around, lean back, etc. Some screws need tightening....be sure to do this often I guess! ... show more

I needed to replace a salon-style chair that was causing muscle knots in my lower back and this looked like a good option being swivel, having no arms, and yet offering full support. It did require a bit of assembly but instructions were clear and all hardware was included. The seat is very cushioned and comfortable, and the back support is good, though I would prefer it to be less cupped and flatter as it can hit the middle of your back wrong if you lean back too much.
