It did the job but as it starts ease off on the spreading needed as the load gets used, perhaps if the paddle in the middle was just a bit bigger. But all in all, it worked as I needed it to do the job.

I was semi impressed with this product, although I underestimated the amount of lawn food I was going to need and this spreader was the right price. I am glad that I have it for the next season when the grass needs another round of care. For now the grass is covered in a layer of frost, and I’ll be putting it away until the snow melts. A good old measure for snow salt on the steps is to use something different. This was relatively easy to use with lawn food from Scotts, and the opening shut on the turns. Thank you. ... show more

    • The gear to Spread Sticks
I was excited to get the spreader and use it. When I went to use it and it worked for a while, then the gear to spread it kept sticking. I get it to work again and then it sticks. Not sure why but I will try it again.

There was no packing in the box and one of the bags was cut and the contents went all over the inside of the box and it was a total mess, the spreader has pices of the bag's content in the mechanism and it does not work very well, overall terrible experience

The spinner kept jamming and I had to hit it with a small hammer to clear the jam. This constantly happened. Would not recommend it.
