I FULLY charged it for 24 hours before first use. I work as a finish carpenter. HA.. I was lucky to get 5 hours. then I hear the voice ( Low Battery) . Yeah... if you need it for a full day.. this is NOT your option. I will deal with it. but don't waste your money if you need longer use.

The unit is self contained and very durable. I use it for back ground music at Flea Markets and shows I do to gather people into my booth area ... The lights change colors on the edges and the from lights up also to gain attention from passers by... It had a tremendous amount of volume capability BUT IT could use a Bass and Treble Button for adjustment as some times it sounds a little muffled depending on what song you are playing. I am sure it can also be used for other things than music and it is very compact so easily transported . This is IDENTICAL to the SONY name brand one that my friend bought EXCEPT SHE PAID THREE TIMES what I paid for mine...... I hope this helps your buying decisions.

This is a hefty, substantial portable speaker. Its heft gives it the ability to produce a big sound. The speaker itself looks good, with changing colored lights and a dull black body. I had some problems pairing it with my iPhone, but prompt and helpful emails from the manufacturer, and a little patience and perseverance on my part, did the trick. I’m glad I bought it.
