I got this robot for my grandsons 4th birthday.the look on his face was priceless.He wanted a robot.and that is what he got.he sounded like a real robot would sound.especially to a 4 year old.i loved it myself. The remote was so easy to use.really nice gift.

It has very smooth moves. But the only problem was nursery rimes, some of the music and and stories. The stories were really short. And the music was a bit babyish for a 9 year old. Other than that I recommend it . Very good robot. I recommend for 7 and younger.

The media could not be loaded. This is a surprisingly awesome robot. It has walk and glide modes, programmable moves, and responds super well to the controller. It works extremely well on hard flat surfaces, but not so much on carpet. On our mid grade carpet it couldn’t really move. It responds to gestures and has a handful of rhymes and random science facts. We got it for my 3 year old, but I think kids up to 10 or more would still love it, though the nursery rhymes would be a bit young for them. We love the design, the smoothness of movement, the response time, and its dancing. One negative is that the words on the story mode and science fact mode are hard to understand over the robot’s moving (the robot moves whenever he talks), and seem to have a language/translation issue. We don’t care too much about that, because we mostly just love the moving robot itself. The robot also comes with an attachable shield and gun, but I feel like they are unnecessary. The gun isn’t controlled remotely and has to be set off by hand, and doesn’t really add anything to the robot itself. Overall, we love it. It might just have some extra features that we don’t think are necessary. ... show more

My 6 yr. Old grandson loves it. Took him about 1 1/2 hrs to figure out a lot of it's things to do. Then he said to grandma I'll have to read the book. Ha ha I didn't even understand it. He did. Good buy.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great robot toy with lots of features. The controller is easy to use and a good size. It charged in a short amount of time. It has song, story, ABC, and Science mode which my elementary age kids will love. It also has a programable feature and motion sensing mode that I think my older middle school kids will appreciate. It's bigger than I had thought. It moves well and has volume control. I was hoping the blaster would be able to shoot with a button from the controller, but as far as I can tell it has to be released manually with a little release button on the top of the blaster. My kids will still think the blaster accessory is cool anyway! This is a great toy for kids into robots! ... show more
