Bought these shorts in grey for everyday walking. I weigh 275 and I'm 6-1. I am trying to get down to 195. I'm 67 years old. In my younger years I was a workout demon. Running, weights basketball. But having a career and running a business with bad eating habits and lots of sitting took it's toll. So now I'm making a serious effort to reverse it. I got Covid in 2020 and almost died. Now I'm type 2 Diabetic. Take insulin once a day. Covid really messed me up. Shut down my kidneys 100%. Had to go on Dyalisis. That was horrible. Luckily my kidney function returned to 60% and I was able to get off Dyalisis. Covid also gave me neuropathy in my right leg. Numb as a rock. That took 2 years to go away. I still get twinges now and then. It was extremely painful when it happened. Numbness in both feet too. Very painful. Covid had me so weak. I couldnt walk. Couldnt eat or drink. Had horrible violent hallucinations. I had to be restrained. Now I'm feeling pretty good. So it's time to lose this gut and get back in shape. These shorts fit fine for a 2x. I was wearing 3x but those are too loose now. I've come down from 325 to 276 just through diet. So now I walk everyday but will start doing it twice a day. I also do calisthenics through out the day in my garage. My next Amazon purchase will be a 25 pound kettlebell. I can do so many workouts with it without having to invest hundreds for weights and a bench. Not to mention the room it would take up. So that's my story for buying these shorts. I was walking with hiking shorts but they're too thick. These mesh shirts are light and cool. Made very well. ... show more

I was looking for shorts that were comfortable. I am a big boy and most of the big boy stuff is hideous to say the least. I wear XXL and wanted something comfortable, loose fitting and did not make my backside look like a freeway sign. I tried a variety of brands and sizes - to include 3XL with bad results. These shorts exceeded my needs and expectations. Like other reviewers mentioned - the pocket could be deeper to hold cell phones or wallets more securely. I use these shorts for everyday use as well as sleep shorts.
