While the metal pole aligns the part to screw the glass down doesn't fit. It's still usable but if it gets bumped the glass will probably fall off.

The media could not be loaded. This floor lamp is awesome and it's just what I've been looking for to use in a small corner of our sunroom - it's the perfect fit without being too bulky or large! The brushed gold is very pretty and the white lampshade is as well, and the round base of the lamp is very sturdy and weighted enough so that the lamp will not tip easily! This floor lamp comes with everything you need (an LED bulb, AND a remote with batteries!) to fully assemble and begin operating in under 5 minutes! I love the floor switch as well - it's super convenient and it's so much better than having a standard switch near the bulb. Once you've assembled this lamp and have plugged it in to an electrical socket and have switched it on using the floor switch, you can operate each of the light settings using the remote which is a really nice perk to have! The LED light settings range from bright, to soft white, to low, and there are even special settings on the remote to use for reading and/or while breastfeeding as well - and both settings are perfect for both! This floor lamp is an excellent value and is great quality, the instructions to assemble it are very clear, and it would be the perfect choice for anyone who wants a slim lamp to fit their space and/or that can be operated and adjusted to multiple white light shades and brightness levels with just an easy click of a remote! ... show more
