The bike is solid, having rode it through mountains and hill country. With the dual motors, climbing steep hills is no problem. I got the extra insurance just in case something breaks on it for two years. I gave it a four star simply because the bike did not come with a tail light. If you notice the picture I am carrying gear and the seat tail light is useless. I plan to use it to commute and pleasure so that's something they should have thought about. ... show more

Lots of power, goes through sand easily. Instruction book not the greatest (they send you the one for the single motor bike). Search reviews for assembly video from seller, that one covers the dual motor bike.

Purchased 2 e-bikes, had a minor issue with the battery on one bike. The bike was still usable while I waited for a replacement. Lisa in Customer Service did a fantastic job providing a new replacement battery within a week or two. Fun to ride !

First off it did not come with a install booklet, however it was easy enough to figure out as it is 90% done when you get it. The hardest thing to put on was the front wheel. Yes, the front wheel, because there was washers installed upside down and and the fork would not seat on the hub. I took me three or four tries to figure this out and reverse the washers and it slid on fine. The heavy weight of the front wheel (has a motor) made this very awkward to do. Hint: flip the bike upside down, have a helper hold the bike steady and on a bunch of soft blankets as the computer display and handle bars can get scratched when doing this. Ok so this is a large and solid bike. Its not for a small person but when riding you will feel confident and secure with how substantial the feel is. With both motors activated you definitely feel the power of the bike. But with just the rear motor, the take-off and pick up feels very smooth compared to other eBikes I have ridden. Also the fat tires I'm running with low pressure provide a solid, soft and grippy ride. Most of the bike appears to be a quality build, with two exceptions. First, the fenders are plastic so give a cheaper appearance, however I actually like them better than metal since they will not dent or rust and don't have any annoying tinny vibration noise when riding on gravel. Second-- and this is the most disappointing thing about the bike-- is there is no brake light. Even my $800 ebike has a brake light. This one gives you a cheap battery powered blinky light that you have to push to turn on and do not light up with the brake lever. Oh and it takes 5 presses to cycle through and turn the stupid thing off. Another thing to improve it would be that the battery lock should have an "off" setting like a motorcycle so someone can't hop on and steal the bike. Other than that I am quite happy and this will definitely be my daily commuter bike. I have not found another all-wheel-drive ebike at this price point and the gold color looks awesome. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After a few hundred miles I feel I can give a fair review. Unboxing it and assembly is pretty straightforward if you have some knowledge of bikes. The instructions are generic and basically useless. The display was only showing partial numbers. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a new one and refunded me $50 for the inconvenience. Although I have not run the battery past half charge I feel that as long as you are in pedal assist mode you will get close to the 80 mile advertised range. The speed is also as expected around 30mph. The front motor is a great feature and one of the main reasons I chose this bike. It has a button to turn it on or off. On uphill climbs it makes a huge difference. I added mirrors and a tail bag as well as an alarm that I mounted under the seat. I also had the pleasure of taking this bike on a mountain bike skills course and I must say I was highly impressed and very happy with it. It performed very well for a 70+ lb bike and after 45min of jumps and obstacles nothing broke or came loose. The only thing I can complain about is the brakes are very squeaky. It is pretty bad. I will investigate further and will contact the seller as they were very responsive previously. ... show more
