Sound great and super easy to set up and use

My wife and I had been using a cheap turntable with a built in speaker and as our vinyl collection has grown so has my want for better sound. I had 3 concerns: 1) I didnt want cables all over the place. Having a built in speaker in the original turntable was nice, the room was clean without cables needing to be run. So Bluetooth or Wifi was a must. 2) Would I be able to get decent sound and power from a wireless setup? 3) Easy setup, using these has to be easy for the entire family. As far as the wireless setup, these speakers do not require any cables from the turntable to the speakers, but they do require a cable from the primary speaker to the second to synch settings etc. For the second requirement of power and sound, I am more than satisfied by the output and sound. Ease of use, these speakers are insanely easy to use, I have connected them to several devices and every device has gone without a hitch. The sound is clean and the included remote is intuitive and easy to use.

Good speakers

These speakers do a great job of what they are supposed to do. I have them on short pillars at either end of 6' desk, pointed just behind me. I really like the sound. I'm using Amazon music unlimited primarily high definition and it creates a sphere of music around me. I like the sound they put out. Once I got an alexa device from Amazon, the wifi sound is quite good. Don't feel shy about contacting edifier support. Their documentation isn't as good as the speakers.The line out from the pc to the speakers is good as is the wifi sound. I still need to get a fiberoptic cable long enough to run from the tv to the speakers. It took a week to get set up due to problems with installing the app, contacting support, and getting an alexa device and pillars. Better documentation would be a good idea. Their support team is good.

I haven't bothered to write a review for a long time. But I am blowen away by these speakers. I received them yesterday afternoon. I also bought the Edifier SS02C floor stands. They complement the speakers nicely. So setup the stands. The speakers. Tested slightly, somewhat low volume since it was a bit late. Not super low, not loud, somewhere in the middle. I was curious about the bass. Played some Tool. Base is nice, tight. Listen to some other music; Heart "Crazy On You". I forget what else. All sounded very nice. So, toady around noontime I thought to get a better feel for the highs, I played Elton John's "Tiny Dancer". wOw Just wOw. I cranked it up pretty loud. I could not get away with that in my aprtment too often. It was so crystal clear. Not shrill at all. I actually got slight goose bumps. And after, I only played the one song, Iwas walking around and for a few minutes kept periodically saying "wOw" LOL Best I have ever heard that song except in concert. Oh, I play the music from my Echo, Amazon Music Premium. What too me the longest was figuring out how to hook the speakers wifi to the Echo. Finally figured it out. That is why I bought these. So I can just say "Alexa, play... whatever". The music plays on the speakers and not the Echo. VERY nice speakers.

These are excellent speakers for a turntable in a decent size room. They work very well so far. The bluetooth and Wi Fi make these an exceptional addition for your TV and other media. They sound magnificent for what they're intended for..I read the reviews and I agree with all the positive reviews not to mention I got them at almost $175 ($425 - $599 ) off regular prices during Prime day. I am very happy with this purchase as they sound absolutely fantastic in my RV. Perfect addition for my turntable and TV !!!

Can't bluetooth a turntable

I have an Audio Technica turntable that I have had for a few years, bluetoothed to very inexpensive speakers. I wanted to upgrade the speakers. I found the bluetooth to be maddening. As another user states, once you bluetooth a source, like an iPad, and if another user in the house wants to use her iPhone, you must shut down the iPad's bluetooth or it will grab both devices. But the turntable I could not bluetooth until I turned off every bluetooth capable device in the house and placed it inches from the master speaker. I was able to bluetooth the turntable ONE TIME, and now, nothing. It will not bluetooth the turntable. It's only about 10' ft away. It is so frustrating. I have been all over Edifier's site, and can't find any resolution. I may be returning these not so great speakers. I have a pretty large collection of vinyl, and it was my main reason for buying these speakers. We have Apple Play, so being able to play on demand music was an attraction, but it seems this set up will ONLY play Apple Play, Alexa, and the rest. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer, and e-mailed back and forth with a technician. I was able to bluetooth the turntable again, but it failed within 5 minutes. I spent two days trying and trying to bluetooth his Audio Technica turntable, one of the most common turntables on the market, and could not do it even with the help of the manufacturer. Again, if you have an iPad, and iPhone and you are using Apple Play, you have to not only disconnect the bluetooth from the device, you have to tell the iPhone, etc. to 'forget the device." For these reasons, I returned the speakers for a refund. I will say, the audio is quite good, so if you have one iPhone, and all you want to use is Apple Play, these speakers sound good. I just don't think they are worth $450.00.
