I recently got a record player for Christmas but didn't realize you need actual speakers for them nowadays (you didn't when I was a kid in the 70s). So I noticed this was the "preferred" set of speakers for record players and hit the order button. Not disappointed at all. Very strong sound that can really blow you out if you want it to. I set them up on a shelf against my wall behind my PC desk about 15 feet behind me and they sound AMAZING. Can even hear them downstairs if they're turned up enough. These look great, are the size I was looking for, they get plenty loud without distorting, they didn't add any noticable hiss to the sound, I loved the variety of connection options included, they were easy to hook up and the bluetooth connection was a breeze. Unfortuately, music played thru these speakers sounded muddy to me. No amount of fiddling with the treble or bass adjustments could get me to a sound that I was happy with. After about an hour of listening to music on these speakers, I came down with a case of listening fatigue and just had to turn them off. They sound fine with spoken dialogue and would probably be fine for using as external speakers for a desktop computer. At $150, they are overpriced in terms of the sound quality you get, IMHO. If you are looking to do any kind of music or media editing with these - you'd be wise to look elsewhere and plan to spend a bit more money. ... show more

Good sound for the price. Excellent PC speakers. Came with fiber optic cable for TV, 3mm connector that I used to connect to my PC, remote control and regular RCA cable. The speaker wire to connect the secondary speaker could be another 3 feet longer. I'm guessing the included speaker wire is about 7', that's kind of limiting. They sound best on the floor, next to a wall. This really brings out the bass and the treble is still good. ... show more

I'm using the speakers in my kitchen to provide music when I'm in that room and I'm controlling the speakers through Alexa. While the speakers can be hooked up manually to a source providing true stereo sound and the speakers have a wide variety of connection options, the standard Bluetooth configuration, controlled through Alexa, provides excellent monaural sound, but no true stereo. There is a way to connect the speakers with Bluetooth, so that they will produce stereo sound, but I have yet to employ that method. ... show more

I did not know what to expect from these speakers and had read so many reviews raving about them left me wondering so I went for it and ordered them. Now I know these are legit, and are amazing computer speakers. So far I've tried them with conference calls and music playback which by the way is incredible. They have a nice amount of bass for their size, no subwoofer is needed in my case. They are not too big but do require a little bit of desk space. The photos can be deceiving and they appear to be larger than I was anticipating. If you've got room for a speaker on each side of your monitor that is half a foot wide, nine inches tall and seven inches front to back these should fit nicely. It took a little time to get the Bluetooth working, but it eventually worked fine. Instructions are a bit cryptic, but decipherable. Great sound range, great bass, and every pleasing sound.
