All these years I had no idea that the reason my IKEA chairs from 30 years ago were so uncomfortable was because they are too short! When I was researching chairs I discovered that table height should be 28 and chair height should be 18. These are 18.5 and PERFECT. The fake wood metal legs are amazing. Super strong and kind of 70s retro, which goes with the style. PLUS (more importantly) they are not that cheap rubber wood which falls apart as soon as you screw anything into it. Metal is great and they are very elegant. I wish they had more color options, but the black is cool. The plastic feels sturdy and has a little bit of give when you lean back. I LOVE these. Easy to assemble and very well packaged. That being said, there are a few blemishes on the chairs that could only have happened in the factory. I like that the back has some give which makes them very comfortable for me. I would not recommend for heavier people.
