Bought this edge gel based on the healthy hair ingredients and positive reviews. Mildly scented, good hold with very little buildup. Never really got into the "baby hair" fad, but it seems to work well for ponytail styling and updos. Keep in mind I haven't used it full strength. I emulsify a dab of the gel with a splash of water before application since I prefer a more pliable hold and a more natural look... ... show more

I've read nothing but good reviews of this hair gel, so I had to purchase it. I always wear my hair in cornrows and needed something to control my edges and baby hair when it gets loose. Sounds like this one could be better than my previous ones because none of my hair gels last a day. When I have worn this product for 48 hours, I will update my review. UPDATE: 07/15/24- This product works well in keeping my edges smooth and flat with no smell or flakes. A penny sized amount is enough for both sides of my head. However, the gel didn't last 48 hours or 24 hours. I will still use it since it works better than previous hair gels. Just doesn't last long. ... show more

I just purchased this from a store in my town, it's funny, it was stuffed way behind some other products, I think someone was trying to hide it but I found it. Hands down this is a fabulous product, I will not buy the other brand I used to, I am definitely sold on this!

I received it the other day. I like the smell. It did hold my hair down but the next day my hair looked greasy. The jar would last me a long time. It has like a tacky feel to it. That's about it.
