We were on the fence of color and knew we wanted green/blue colors in our open concept floor plan. Finding something that wasn't overpowering and balanced for a open floor plan and transition of color was a search. Stumbled on this green blue and the blend of light and dark, design blend perfectly and almost feels neutral. The rug came folded and that was a surprise for 9x12, was worried about creases,but the smoothed out perfectly, it's lighter and so much softer than expected. It is a thinner low pile, which is by design to be machine washable. Love that it can be machine washed time to time, since we have a dog. This is a really beautiful rug! The washable factor is nice because we have a cat but I haven’t had to wash it yet so I can’t say whether or not it washes well. The only bad thing is that this rug is NOT vacuumable. My husband has to stand on one side of the rug to try and hold it down while I attempt to pull the vacuum along it. It’s just SO thin and light that the vacuum sucks it right up! Even despite that, I’m still happy with my purchase. I like the vintage look of it. ... show more

Before I forgot, since I never write reviews and as much as I am sad over having to send it back I just want to share that it’s beautiful! Unfortunately the color doesn’t match my room, it’s my brown in my room that’s off and hard to match so no fault to the fight but it is actually beautiful and I am literally obsessed with the texture, it’s so smooth it doesn’t feel like any other rug and then you can wash it!! The colors and design of the rug are beautiful. It is a gray with light blue tones vs a charcoal gray which is what I wanted. It is thinner which is what I wanted. It does pull up when being vacuumed. It is permeable, likely necessary to allow it to be washable. I use it in the bedroom on top of the carpet. When my dog had a urinary accident, it cleaned up easily and the order came out easily. But I did not expect to have to clean the carpet as well. This was minor and now I am aware. Bought the 4x6 size to be on the safe side of it fitting in my front load washer, but the 5x7 probably would've fit just as well. Its too light weight to vacuum so the 4x6 size makes it easier to take outside and shake out. With 2 dogs it gets washed often and hung outside to dry and still just as soft and great looking as it was when it was first purchased. In the pictures I'm sharing its probably been washed over 5 times at this point and as you can see it still looks great. ... show more

Time will of course tell, however this rug is as described out of the package. Which comes folded and not rolled as stiffer and larger rugs do. Super soft to the touch and while thinner than a typical rug seems to be well made. Concerned the creases wouldn’t come out at first but laid nicely and smoothed out on its own by the end of day. The colors were what I expected and was pleased with that. The backing keeps it in place, but again it is light weight so I won’t be surprised if it lifted by a lot of jostling and not just walking on it. May update later once I see the durability of it after the grandkids are over and may need to be washed. ... show more
