Perfect, strong-yet-safe hold for “4C” kinky-coarse hair, of African-Carribean descent. It’s truly clear so no white chunks or white residue surprising & embarrassing you in the middle of the day pilled on your hairline or in between your parts. I’ve used it about thirteen times without a single issue thus far. I have yet to experience this with an edge control product. It smells lovely. Scent is light & not overbearing. There is a light shine but not too much; natural looking. So far I will continue to buy this edge control and will continue to keep an eye on the ingredients. May this company continue to do right by its customers holistically and it will continue to be a successful product. I also love that the owner packaged it so well and that you get a mini jar to travel (can be easily refilled) with, along with a large jar to keep at home; more stationary and it also came with an edge control brush that is soft on the edges not damaging your hair follicles. This product seems to have been well thought through, with the customer truly in mind, long term. The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this Product my daughter used it a few days ago to get her hair braided for school and it made her hair look amazing. There were No flakes after this Product got applied to her hair. It’s not sticky nor to think definitely nice and smooth to the touch I recommend that you buy this Product especially if you keep your hair braided, twisted, etc… I uploaded a few pictures and a video clip of how my daughters hair looks! ... show more

I’ve been using this for my box braids and edges for 5 months and just about ready to reorder. I have lots of new growth in between my box parts and edges! I’ve used this for about 6 braid hairstyles. It feels clean and does not flake. Once it dries, and it dries fast, your edges are set until the next day. It does not have a scent. This gel is great. I love that it is unscented and doesn't flake. It will flake if you put it on dirty hair. The hair has to be clean! The hold is good but if I want a strong hold I have to mix it with another stiff gel.
