I spent a lot of time contemplating how much I liked this blanket before submitting a review. I love the longer length but wish it were a few inches longer. The brushed fleece is kind of soft but not as soft as I would like. However, I do think that side will stay cleaner longer because it isn't plush. So far the sherpa side is staying soft and fluffy but I am concerned that in time, that will change (but I hope not). I have this in both the "midnight" blue and the "raisin" reddish. Both colors are neutral enough to go with a lot of stuff and are not "seasonal". The throw is warm without being heavy. I wish the white tags (fabric content, washing instructions, etc.) were at the bottom (the same end as the Eddie Bauer label) or easily removable without looking stupid. If you have the throw situated such that the Eddie Bauer label is the proper direction, the white tags are in your face. The fact that these are not ultra plush might actually make them more giftable as they look a little more refined. Now if they could only be a little bit softer... ... show more
