I liked the first one, so went ahead and ordered a second one. The plaid side feels like a flannel shirt - good texture in my opinion. Also, my dog seems to agree as he likes to burrow into it. The size is not huge. It does match the description. It is warm, but not a very thick blanket. I tend to run hot.
