The instructions are awful, The don't make sense and the photos aren't helpful, make sure you have it done professionally. The bike it's works great, I love that it comes with the basket and rear mount, comfortable seat that's easy to adjust. Never a problem with the battery and easy to remove and install. However, I had it for a few months, rode it daily to work - stolen fromy garage, used bolt cutters to get it off the cables. I am heart broken and stupid because I never registered it.

This Bike is awesome. This is the Black PeaceDove. The fenders are plastic garbage, No instructions on installing the back rack or basket. And it doesn’t look like a very efficient way to install them anyway if you can even figure it out. And I’m no stranger to assembling things. I went no frills stripped down. And like it much better this way. Runs fast, everything worked right outta the box. Assembly was about half an hour. Handlebars, seat, front tire, front brake adjustment done.

This is the second E-bike in our family. I recently bought an excellent quality Westok E-bike that was a breeze to assemble. This step-through model seemed better suited to my wife. This is a well made bike with some nice controls and very good construction. However, compared to the Westok, this bike was not an easy assembly. The rear fender was not installed, as it was on the Westok, and the only way to install it is to remove the rear wheel. I followed their manual to install things in order and installed the front fender, only to find out that I had to remove the bolt holding it on to install the front rack later. Neither of the front or rear brakes were properly aligned either, as they were on my Westok. I won't bore you with entire ordeal, but it was a lot of little things like this that made it a real chore to assemble. But, as I said, now that the bike is together and properly adjusted, this is a very nice bike. In fact, I like the controls on this one better than those on my Westok. So, it's not that I wouldn't recommend the bike, but be forewarned that assembly will likely require quite a bit of work and patience.

The bike is great until you have a warranty issue the seller needs to honor. Bike battery has power discharging even when not in use. When seller is asked for resolution they want battery back to "repair" and will not send a replacement. Leaves bike unusable for weeks? Buy the bike dont get it through Frametrade

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this bike, as it had no reviews when I initially looked at it, but decided to go for it anyway. I’m so incredibly glad that I did! There was damage to the bike’s front wheel that appeared to have happened during shipping and after contacting customer service, they recommended bringing it to my local bike shop for repairs and that they would refund me the full cost of any necessary repairs. Communication was easy, quick, and thorough. As far as I’m concerned, they went above and beyond. While the written assembly directions are somewhat lacking and could use some work, I didn’t have much trouble navigating how to make it happen. After owning this bike for several weeks now, I’m thrilled to say it has been nothing but a pleasure and I underestimated how much I would love it. The throttle is great for navigating downtown traffic, and the different levels of pedal assist are fantastic for cruising around. Going uphill is a breeze and I feel like I could be on this thing all day. All in all, I don’t think there’s a better ebike out there at this price point, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this bike or seller to anyone.

I am now revising my previous reviw and upgraded it to a 5 after contacting the seller via Amazon messaging. Their responses were prompt and they replaced the damaged tire and tube with an entire new wheel. Rides quietier as a result. rI’m giving this 1 star only because it’s an easy step through and I did get to ride it for 10 minutes before the front tire tube blew out. The tires were inflated to proper pressure and the tire is not damaged Assembly time is 5 times what they advertised. Manual is almost useless and video has steps of assembly in different order. The fenders are ridiculously flimsy and front one completely useless as no matter how many times it has been adjusted it still is very noisy. It’s definitely not a quite ride with motor engaged either.

This bike is torture to put together, and was missing one of the springs for the front wheel(so much for Christmas Day riding). When I reached out for support they all wanted a picture. To show you I'm missing the spring? One response was that the 2 springs must be stuck together? Just SEND me the spring- I'm not an idiot. I built my own junk bike as a kid from some old Huffy and Schwinn parts that ran for 12 years. I went to my local bike shop and the mechanic gave me one for free. Whatever. The instructions for assembly were written by a third grader who failed convoluted instruction school at IKEA, when it comes to technical writing. And the Fenders-THE FREAKIN FENDERS?!!!! plastic junk -don't even put them on the bike- doesn't need them- and after 4 hours of adjustment I honestly could not figure out how the fenders would ever NOT rub against the tires. Unfortunately to take off the front fender you have to remove the front basket bracket which was a huge PITA to get on in the first place. Then 50 brake adjustments on the front brake, and no quick release as advertised, but even if it was quick release, you have to undo the brakes to get the tire off(something to be aware of if you are going far from home-you will need tools to take off the tire if you get a flat far from home.......and may not have front breaks if you can't adjust them right until you get home. ARGGGH. I bought 2 electric bikes for my fam for Christmas and my daughter wanted one with a basket(this one). Now I ride this one and she gets to ride the heybike which is a better ride by far. I will say this bike has pep in the throttle and I think it goes above 20MPH and I'm pushing 250 so impressed by that. The battery lasts as advertised.
