  • Fairly Easy to install
My only dislikes is they don’t tell you about moving the rear brake plates around. It’s not just an adjustment and you are done. The other is the instructions could set up the steering better when first building. Others than that is fairly good instructions and a fun to install kit for your Cart

  • As hoped.
Assembly is common sense and take your time. My ‘93 DS swapped to lithiums (-300lbs) is much lighter and with rear seat added and passengers the HD springs (3 leafs) were still way too stiff. I removed middle spring and left stock type and shorter helper spring. Much improved. I plan to remove second spring from the front next. I won’t off-road this kit. Not meant for it. ... show more

  • Not bad for the price.
So in all it's good for the money, but there were a few things that had to be done to make it work. First it was not assembled like shown in the pictures. Nor a big deal but no directions on how to put it together. Just directions on installing it after its put together. Then two hex head bolts that hold the spindles on had to be rethreaded and holes they go in also had to be tapped. One of the spindles had to be lightly ground down to allow the wheel bearing to slide on. I think that one just didn't get finished. Seems to be pretty sturdy. I would buy again if I ever need one again. ... show more

  • Poor Instructions and Arrived Completely Unassembled Unlike in the Pics
I eventually got this installed, but 1-3 hours? More like 2 days and I'm a decent home (not professional) mechanic. Admittedly, some of this was due to this going on a 30-year-old golf cart, but a lot of it was also due to really poor instructions to the point that you're basically on your own for installing it. I ended up roughly following a MadJax YouTube video to do the install. This manufacturer doesn't seem to know its own product. First of all, some of the instructions clearly show a SGC brand lift kit (even with the SGC logo). Also the instructions don't mention the four metal pieces I included in the pic. I still have absolutely no idea what they're for and where they go. Apparently neither does the manufacturer or you'd think they'd be in the instructions??? FYI, the box said 7Blacksmiths on the outside and this same kit is sold on Amazon by 7Blacksmiths for like $30 cheaper. This same kit from this seller shows the main front end completely assembled -- it isn't. And there's no instructions for how to assemble it. I just used common sense to assemble it, but if you're not mechanically inclined it might be a bit of a problem for you. Again, so far it looks like a decent kit especially for the relatively low price. However, with hindsight, I would gladly pay the $100-150 more to actually get what I thought I was purchasing (assembled) and with much better instructions and even a manufacturer's Youtube video. If you're on a budget, this isn't horrible, but if you can afford a higher priced kit, I would recommend getting that. ... show more

  • Junk junk junk
Do not buy this lift. Spindles are garbage. Allen bolts that bolt spindles to the heim joint/ball joints dont fit at all. Holes are badly out of round where the bolts go in. I suspect the were welded after they were tapped causing them to warp and probably dropped a couple times in their tips during the manufacture process. Tomorrow will be day 2 on just the front portion of the lift. I had to re-tap the spindles because the holes would not even allow the 1/2" bolts to thread. Drag link and tie rod links won't fit either. Gotta get a tapered bit and machine those holes also to make them fit. Just complete junk. Buy a better kit and save yourself hours of frustrating labor to make it work. Junk junk junk.. ... show more

  • NO INSTRUCTIONS
Literally my husband worked on this for 7 HOURS. It came with zero instructions, was completely apart. He had to watch YouTube videos, base it off our old on, it was absolutely terrible. After fighting for hours to get it on, it did work thankfully but I'm not sure it was worth the hassle.. it was expensive enough that we should've received instructions. Disappointed. Some parts also looked used and scuffed up. ... show more
