Once again wildfire season is upon us. After my wife and I woke up one morning with migraines that completely ruined our day I decided to break down and purchase an air purifier just to see if it would even work. The first night we could definitely see it working just by the numbers gradually going after stabilizing. We live in a roughly 1200 sqft town home and after leaving it running all night it brought the PM2.5 from 75 down to about 04-05 and maintained it their. Once something is introduced into the air. Something even as simple as lightning a match near it. You will definitely see the numbers shoot up and then gradually go back down. By the 2nd night of running this in our bedroom, we definitely noticed and felt the difference. The air just overall felt fresher and cleaner and we both slept much more peaceful throughout the night because of it. We have a 80lb dog who is thankfully short hair and doesn't shed a lot. We do however have a 12lb cat with fairly long fur. We have also noticed this does a great job at eliminating any type of pet odor and helps keep pet hair and dander down. It does a decent job eliminating smoke and odors from cooking. Depending on the size of kitchen/ house. It will drop you back into green in about 30mins to an hour of running it continuesly on the highest fan speed. The wifi features are great. You can control all the settings and monitor the PM2.5 number in real time. For the price and it having a TRUE Hepa filter, we could be happier. We're even thinking of purchasing another so we can have one in our front room and one in our bedroom instead of having to move it back a d forth. Bottom line, it absolutely works and does a very efficient job of cleaning the air which can be monitored in real-time with the PM2.5 #. I bought a 4 pack of the Blue replacement filters specifically designed for pets. It was under $40. So filter replacements are budget friendly. I'd be lying if I said the fan wasn't mildly noticeable on the highest setting. But mist of the time the unit will probably be running on the lowest fan setting which you have to almost struggle to hear. So it is not a very loud or noisy unit when running. The wall plug does get a little warm, not hit to the touch, but to be expected when it's running on the highest speed.

Small but Efficient thus far

Bought another Ecoself filter

My wife has terrible allergies, so we bought an Ecoself filter for the bedroom. It helped her so much that we bought another for the rest of the house. We needed to contact their customer service for a small problem we were having with our first unit and I have never had better service after the sale as with the people at Ecoself!
