3M Virtua CCS Protective Eyewear with foam gasket features a comfortable seal that helps limit eye exposure to nuisance dust while providing additional cushioning. The anti-fog lens coating and removable foam-lined gasket with airflow vents make this protective eyewear ideal for humid environments. The versatile Corded Ear Plug Control System (CCS) design helps keep safety glasses and ear plugs attached (sold separately), untangled and ready to use, so your team has the convenient, comfortable protection it needs to focus on the jobs at hand. Anti-Fog polycarbonate lens absorb 99.9% UV. Meets the requirements of CSA Z94.3 and is impact rated to ANSI Z87.1 2015. good quality, removable lining is great

I do a lot of wood cutting, so a good pair of safety glasses is essential. I have about 10 pair and I would put these in the top 2 or 3. They stay in place, do not interfere with headphone style ear protectors (although I use foam ear plugs for added protection). They are slightly tinted but not too much, good for outdoor work, acceptable for indoor. The lining is higher quality than I expected. From the photo, it looked like cheap foam but its more like neoprene or at least something higher quality than basic foam. Only drawback so far is that when working outside in cold weather with the lining in place, they tend to fog up. It's not bad, but enough that I have to take them off for 12 seconds to let them air out, then resume cutting. ... show more

Great fit - feels secure on my head & the protection is noticeable immediately from the foam gasket around the lenses. The mirrored I/O lenses add a little bit of flair while making the glasses more comfortable for work in all conditions. They feel pretty solid for plastic frame safety glasses, but I definitely wouldn't bend them too much. Seeing through is clear in all lighting and the slight tint in bright areas is helpful for precision work, notably spot welding. ... show more

I’ve been through so many safety glasses and so far this is the best one. Not perfect though. I’m a professional remodeler flipping houses. They are used every day, all day in a number of capacities from protection from saw cuttings to paint spraying. Hear’s my main points LENS.... I have the mirrored lens. It’s not really a mirror, in fact I didn’t know it had any tint until I looked in a mirror. You can wear them in dim settings but they also function as weak sunglasses. Just enough glare reduction to be effective yet not too much to render them useless in dim light. SCRATCH RESISTANCE.... so so. I’ve had tougher but they hold up fairly well. They’ll scratch if you run up on wood. For instance I had them up on my head and glanced a low joist.... scratch. I had them on my pocket with my pocket knife... scratches. Some glasses scratch when I clean them. I take precautions to not rub them clean when they are super fouled but they don’t seem to scratch as easier as others. Moreover, the scratches don’t really show up like some glasses ... it takes the right angle light for me to go “oh yea I scratched them.” So overall I’m satisfied with them on the scratch point. FOG.. fairly good, and very good if u remove the black plastic thingy, but I don’t because i like the added protection. And it seems without it I’ve got wood chips flying in. I’m on my second pair. I got 2months out of them before a low floor above I was working on met them on my forehead. But I notice the anti fog resistance deteriorated over time. Some kind of coating I presume that wears off as they were more fog resistant in month one than in the second. PROTECTION. Really outstanding. The black gasket really keeps flying debris out. I do quite a bit of overhead saws all cutting during demo and the chips and nail frags just bounce off the gasket. Without it theyd surely be lodged in my eyeball (lol). I’ve had a few blunt impacts that knocked me off my feet. Surely I thought they’d cracked ... but only left a good dig in the lens. I feel spline in these. Hope this helps!! ... show more

Fit and comfort are great for relatively inexpensive safety glasses. There are also a slight tint to the indoor/outdoor type I got that make it ideal for eyes that do not appreciate bright UV. The foam rubber surrounds are also ideal in a sawing environment to keep a lot of airborne particles out of the eyes, but also allow for some ventilation. Overall, I recommend these safety glasses for home or pro use without the cheap and geeky look of some of the others. ... show more

I was disappointed with the fact that they are so tinted reducing visibility, but it doesn’t say tinted lense, it just says mirror finish. Could be handy if it was advertised that way. Overall, everything about these safety glasses represent everything we’ve all come to know and love about 3M products. I bought a new pair for clarity to replace the very old and scratched ones for working under my truck. Anyone who has ever worked under a vehicle knows how dark it can be under a vehicle even with 6,000 lumens shining under there, there are always shadows and darker spots. First up: wasn’t paid for this review, this is just regular old me. Secondly: these work amazing. I live in FL and it’s muggy, overly humid, AND I wear a hat. All things that immediately fog up even the smallest pair of glasses. Not these things though. They actually do so good at preventing fog I thought it just wasn’t that bad outside until I put on my normal glasses and they fogged immediately. They also kept my eyes clear completely of all the sand and rust and dirt all over the underside of my car. They are slightly just barely tinted though, so when the evening came and light got low, it did make it hard to see. But nothing crazy. Very happy with these. Buy with confidence. ... show more
