Does exactly what it should! Had to run constantly for the first few days to get our pool to 80.....but now it's perfect, only kicks on when the temp goes down a few degrees! Been using this for about a month now and hasn't made the electricity bill go up much at all! We had a tiny bit of trouble at first finding the right attachments for extensions cords, but once we jumped through those loops (a nice, strong extension cord is sold on vevor.com) it is worth every penny! ... show more

Really the only negative thing about this pool heater was that the directions were a bit confusing. They’re all pictures- no words- but we were able to figure it out! This has (so far) kept our water at 80+ degrees (F) since about day 2 or 3 of having it turned on. We have an 18ft pool which sits in a very shaded yard and even on hot summer days the water felt frigid! Now I feel like we could comfortably swim regardless of the temps outside! I would 100% buy this again and recommend it to anyone! *Edit to add* I saw comments about the pieces not fitting. The heater comes with multiple white silicone rings (they look like rubber bands) and we layered 3-4 of them on each piece of tubing. Between that and the clamps that come with it, we did not need to purchase any extra pieces and it fit just fine. We have now had the pool up for over a month and still extremely happy about this purchase! ... show more

    • It works goes up by 2 degrees in 24 hours at night. More during the day.
I just got this 2 days ago.. and my pool went from 60* at fill to 77* in two days.. I dont know what it will do to electric bill yet And the cord is kinda short for a heater. Also, the box that housing the heater is plastic and mine has a crack in it. So it does work, but run it non stop. Until sun can keep it warm. It seems to go up by 2 degrees at a time.. so for me was worth it. No noise. Kinda tricky to get it started up. Push and hold buttons. ... show more

Doesn't work as described after several days the water still has a chill. Since purchased the water hasn't gotten warm enough to enjoy. Running it as long as i could with the cover on to prevent heat lost and still the same. Rated for 5000 gallons my pool is 4400 and still not warm enough to be comfortable. Maybe that's why this product isn't available. Extremely disappointing shutting it down I'm wasting electricity 😪 so much for warm water. ... show more
