We bought the 600W for a small, detached kitchen 7'x13'x8. It actually was too much heat for the kitchen, so we moved it to the master bedroom. BEST! thing we ever did. Keeps the room around 68 all the time with a thermostatic control. After a few months I took things a step further, I bought a heat guard for the front creating another channel of air to pass through and more heat produced. I also ordered another heat reflector pad and stuck it to the inside of the heat guard maximizing the output without more energy consumed. As for the kitchen, we bought the 250W heater and it maintains temperature perfectly without ant thermostat control. Our electric bill hasn't increased since doing this, we do have solar panels. Only because the weather is so cold this year, our gas has increased for the rest of the house. We might buy a couple more panels for other areas. Yes, there was a smell. But it was for such a short time, I almost forgot to mention it. One more thing. I had a hard time pairing the remote thermostat control with my phone . The service was terrific. ... show more

I work in an insulated barn in Northern California that's fairly drafty. I put this right next to my desk and it radiates some really nice heat keeping me warm all day. It doesn't heat my entire barn which is probably around 200 ft² but it does a nice job of keeping me warm as long as I stay nearby

These things are amazing. I have one in each of my two ~120sqft bedrooms and they have no trouble holding a temp of 70F through the day. They do take about 45mins to heat the room entirely, but once they are going, the heat is fantastic. There is no draft or hot and cold spots like with traditional forces air space heaters. Do not buy this product. Doesn't matter what you do, the smell doesn't go away. They tell you to paint it or put it in another room for a while...don't do it
