First, let me say that I can't remember ever taking the time to post a review of anything I've ever purchased on Amazon. But I was so pleased with this purchase that I decided to take the time to do so. We purchased this wheelchair to use for my mom, who suffers from back issues. This chair is just fantastic and is being kept in her vehicle so it's available at all times! It was easy to attach the footrests, is lightweight but nice and sturdy, and fits really easily through any doorway. It is easy to open for use, and just as easy to fold up for putting it into the car. The larger back wheels make it really easy to push and maneuver...it will spin on a dime! She said the seat is very comfortable and she feels the chair is very sturdy and stable. The product info says it's good for up to 300lbs, but the seat space is fairly narrow, so that is something to keep in mind if you are looking at this one for a larger/wider build person. We are super pleased with this chair and would buy another in a heartbeat, if needed. Especially at the price we paid....it's worth it's weight in gold for our family!!

Great wheelchair for transporting elderly relative. It's lightweight and folds down quickly and easily. I usually remove the foot rests when I pack it in my trunk so it will be lighter. Although it is lightweight, it is very sturdy with padded armrests and soft seat. Great product, easy to lift and to maneuver, and at a good price. The cover that is included is an added bonus for storing the wheelchair in the garage.

Love this transport chair. It's lightweight, serves the function and is very comfortable for the occupant. Another review stated something about the left foot rest not staying put and this is true. The dust cover is a nice addition. The color is great. Although you can grip the hand brakes at the handles, I didn't realize how the brakes locked to hold the chair steady... you just push down on the handles in order to get the brakes to lock and then group the handles again to release. Loading the chair seems to be easier after removing the front foot rests because it takes some of the weight off. It folds easily pulling up the seat with one hand in the front and one in the back. The size is great for a smaller person such as an older female. I'm not seeing any of the quality issues that others have experienced, with the exception of the left foot rest. Nothing has broken so far and I don't anticipate any problems in the future. I even purchased a separate cup holder to attach.

This travel wheelchair exceeded all my expectations. Very comfortable & folds easily and doesn’t take up much space in the car. Hand brakes are great & you can push down to lock the wheels also. Wheels swivel so maneuvering is easy and the ride is very smooth. Easily removable foot rests are a nice bonus. Very sturdy construction. If you are looking for a travel wheelchair I highly recommend this one.

This chair is truly light weight, but strong enough to accommodate a 220+ plus person. It seems very sturdy and pushes and maneuvers pretty easily and very happy with the product and low cost. However, be aware that it is delivered with absolutely no information or instructions regarding the chair: use, care, maintenance, etc. (Just a blank box with the chair inside.) While it unfolds easily from the box, keep track of what's happening, as it is not as easy to refold without instructions. My chair arrived with a broken "hub cap" on one of the large wheels, which required a new wheel (as the cap seems to be glued to the wheel hub). The company was very responsive, but after 2 weeks of back and forth messages, I finally received a link to download the USER MANUAL, and was able to get the new wheel installed (no instructions, and needed metric tools). If you have any damage at delivery, take pictures as they will be required for your claim. I recommend that purchasers insist that the USER MANUAL be provided or any information sheet with the link to secure the Manual.

My mom has dementia and Parkinson's Disease, and she needs a wheelchair for outings because she doesn't have the stamina to use her walker for very long. As a lifelong wheelchair user, I knew the features she needed in a wheelchair. This review is intended to help first-time wheelchair buyers. 1. A transport chair, not a self-push chair. Because of her dementia, I don't want my mom to wheel herself away. If you want to self-push, you need a chair with large back wheels that you can reach. 2. No assembly required. 3. Easy to fold, lightweight, and fits in the trunk without disassembly. To fold the chair, flip the footrests up, then grab the front and back of the seat and pull up. It's light enough for my mom's 50-year-old aide to easily lift the chair in and out of the trunk of a Toyota Corolla. Some other chairs on Amazon must have the wheels and footrests removed to fit in the trunk. I know from experience that if you don't reassemble that kind of chair exactly right, the wheels and footrests can fall off while you're pushing it! 4. Real footrests, not just a bar. Her foot could fall off a bar on a bumpy ride, such as over a sidewalk or brick surface, and she could hurt her feet or shins if her feet are on the ground while she's being pushed. 5. A seatbelt. I looked at over 20 chairs on Amazon, and this was the only one with a seatbelt. If my mom's aide doesn't notice a bump on the sidewalk or a high door threshold, it's possible the chair could flip forward and dump my mom out. I recommend that you go over a bump in one of two ways. A. Tip the chair back so that the front wheels are off the ground enough to clear the bump. The problem is that, for a high bump, you will have to either ram the back wheels over it or lift the back wheels with the handlebars. B. Turn the chair around and pull it over the bump. If the bump is high, it helps to tip the chair back. If a sidewalk drops down, it's best to go backward without tipping the chair.
