I use these with my Litter Robot 4. I like that they aren't made from fossil oil derived plastic and that they won't add more microplastics to the environment when they break down. The small donation to help strays is a plus. BUT understand these aren't originally designed for Litter Robots. They FIT in the waste drawer BUT it appears the original machine doesn't have the same weight capacity as a Litter Robot. The bag will break if filled to more than 50% with heavy clay litter per the LR Whiskers app. There's a simple solution if you don't want to change out the bag that frequently: use two and double bag the waste. They're thin and fit in the waste drawer with no problem. Yes, this effectively doubles the cost. I'm already paying a premium because I value its green feature. It's the only non-plastic bag I've found to fit my Litter Robot. It's your choice. You can also try using lighter weight silica litters but my cats despise the stuff and won't use it. Organic litters tend not to work well with the Litter Robot; YMMV. Other observations: It can be a bit hard to find the tear off spot but it is marked, it's a very minor annoyance. The green print will run if the drawer isn't dry but it also cleans up easily. I like that they're unscented; it won't mask the smell of cat urine and I don't want to smell it on the shelf. I prefer to throw some baking soda in the drawer and add a bit more if I catch it cycling. Don't order too far ahead, they're designed to break down quickly on purpose, it's a feature, not a bug. For what I use these for they work well and fit with my values.

I purchased these hoping they would fit better than the Litter Robot brand. The draw strings did help a bit but not much. However, they are definitely compostable because they begin to break down when still in use! Several time I have pulled out the bag to throw away only for it to form holes or disintegrate altogether, spilling all the nasty contents on the floor.

I have a Litter Robot 4 and have been searching for waste bags since the “official” ones are too pricey. I’ve tried a few different brands but all of them were very thin and would fall apart. These bags are thick and hold the waste securely; I’ve never been worried about the bags breaking when tying them up and disposing of the them. These bags are great because they don’t interfere with the waste bin sensors, so there’s never false readings. They fit perfectly inside of my Litter Robot 4’s waste bin and don’t sag down like other bags I’ve used. There’s also no smell - the bags do a good job of containing the waste’s odor. I also appreciate how easy it is to tear the bags from the roll…I have arthritis so ease of use is important. Overall I’m every impressed with these bags and they’re now my de facto poop sack for my Litter Robot.

I've been using these bags for a while now because I like the drawstring, the fact that they are biodegradable and fit better than OEM Litter Robot bags which are just way too big. However, I had far too many failures out of my last bag to recommend these to anyone. They look fine going in but look like they were handled by Wolverine on a bad day coming out. The purpose of using a bag in the waster drawer of our LR4 is defeated when the myriad splits in the bag cause the contents to remain behind when the bag is lifted up. I should note that these bags do not sit for a long time because we have 4 cats and the bags fill up quite quickly. The boxes of liners are always used up well within the recommended use by dates. So, I cannot recommend these and I'll just say, buyer beware and be prepared to carry the waste drawer to another garbage bag with the whole smelly mess when the bags split open.

All of the other reviews about durability are true - without fail, these bags fall apart upon getting full. I usually double bag and do not have the issue, but occasionally they will both still rip.
