Beautiful wood and quite sturdy. Color was as expected and assembly was pretty easy. A little pricy compared to other benches but definitely worth it. We bought a bench cushion on Amazon as well for a nice finishing touch.

It looks very nice but not comfortable. It was pretty easy to put together apart from one corner that the holes didn’t seem to line up correctly but we got it to fit. It’s been outside for about 3 months now, the wooden finish is starting to show wear, not from sitting but from the light rain we have had this summer. ... show more

On top of a magnificent solid ebony design, this piece stands out from all the other ebony furniture that we have purchased over the years. The old ebony was beautiful, this is simply spectacular. It was easy to put together. It came in a heavy duty set of double protective boxes and was very heavy as you well can imagine. The double heavy duty double boxing did a great job protecting this in its journey from Indonesia. Two arms, back, bench, cross strut, all precisely were interlocked and fixed with the brasz screws leaving a very stable bench. You can tell whoever built it had an artful eye and keen sense of what they were doing. Thanks! By the way, the 18” end tables made by thus company also are terrific! ... show more
